Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Sociology is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and the three best academic/elective subjects as specified in List A and List B.
Inclusion of any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of the best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per such subject included in the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
Out of the three academic/elective subjects chosen above, one must be the concerned subject in which the admission is sought, failing which a deduction of 2.5% will be imposed on the aggregate “Best Four” percentage. The deduction will not be applicable to BA(Hons) Social Work and BA(Hons) Philosophy.
Admission to B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology will be based on the ‘Best Four’ percentage as in B.A. (Hons.) Psychology.
Admission to B.A. (Hons.) Social Work and B.A. (Hons.) Philosophy will be based on the ‘Best Four’ percentage including one language and three academic/elective subjects.

The infrastructure of my college is excellent, providing a conducive environment for learning. Spacious classrooms, a well-equipped library, modern laboratories, and well-maintained sports facilities enhance the academic and extracurricular experience.

The college has nice and well maintained infratructure, positive and peaceful environment. All facilities were well maintained. They provided high quality of education with the great teaching faculty.
