Yes, my college do have alll the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have well furnished chairs and tables boards and very clean floor to walk upon everywhere. And yes all the food is hygienic in there.
Currently into commerce department. I'm doing B.A. PROGRAMME (ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ADVERTISING) and has scored real good marks in both of my first two sememster . This had only happened due to the great teaching faculty and teaching methods.
Excellent and really beneficial. Glad that I chose this college. It really provide you up with great good opportunities for your future career by handing you over the certificates and sometimes an average salary.
Yes JMC has the necessary infrastructure and facilities. We have classrooms, labs, theatre, church, ground, dance hall, library etc. The campus is beautiful with all the greenery and the food is also good and hygienic.
I am pursuing Bcom programme from JMC. The curriculum is followed as per the guidelines from Delhi University. The curriculum is relevant pertaining to today’s requirements and enables us to be equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge.
The quality of placements have been average. The number of placements are good but the packages and the brand value of companies are moderate. Obviously we have some good companies offering excellent packages but to those candidates who are outstanding.
It is economical compared to private colleges. It costs approximately 20k-25k per year. I feel it’s value for money because of the quality education and the exposure the students get. Also the campus has all the facilities.
Couldn’t share much about the college life due to the online mode but as far as my experience goes the students are friendly and supportive. The seniors are also very helpful and friendly. Teachers also support you in various decisions and guide you for your future.
As per the pictures I have seen the college infrastructure is goos but I've never been to college so I can't provide my honest reviews. Hostel ls aren't provided by JMC which is one thing they should start.
Awesome. The teacher's are well educated and talented. Even in online classes they have taught us really well. They have put forward their efforts to make us understand every topic nicely. But every coin has 2 faces, hence their are bad teachers too.
Being in 1st year of college I don't know about the placement opportunities. I'll know about them once I experience. (One thing I really didn't like about this form is that 200 words are mandatory, I mean why?)
Ofcourse
Really don't know, coz I've never seen college.
Excellent Infrastructure facilities and equipment! Well lit classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres. Good food in the canteen. Friendly staff, very scholarly environment. Beautiful ambience, surrounded by nature.
Excellent! The quality of teaching is top-grade. Very scholarly environment. Well maintained library, a good space for self study and the sort. The curriculum taught is extremely relevant and contemporary.
Excellent! Multi-nationals, corporate giants, start-ups, small businesses, all come to Jesus and Mary College to look for future employees. Great skill development is imparted before the placement drive.
Yes!
Excellent!
Yes, the college has very good infrastructure, facilities and very hygienic food too. There is a great library, spacious classrooms, gym and open gym along with that well developed labs that facilitate learning.
I am studying Economics Hons and am in my third year. The quality is very good and skill development is given priority as well. The curriculum is also updated regularly and is at par with the current developments in the field.
The placements are also of good quality and the college and the placement cell is also very supportive at every step. Although I am yet to sit for placements, skill development sessions take place and also internship opportunities are provided.
The infrastructure is quite good with unique building. Our building is one of its kind. Every place has its own value. It gives us so much positivity and love. The building is just amazing. Every thins has its own value.
The teachers are really good and helpful. It is important for you to focus in studies as well as other activities. The teachers are really interactive and fun loving. They are nit that strict. And also its important for you to pay more attention in some classes.
I can't really say about it. But I think the placements are average. Firstly and most importantly it depends on your potential also. Many of us tend to pursue masters after undergraduation. People are really doing well and also getting placed at a well to do company. Many are reaching above expections which are unbelievable companies.
I feel its price and fees is ok for any person. But a small problem is that its more costly than the other DU Colleges. The cost of living and expenditure is much more in South Delhi. Otherwise value for money is ok. The quality of the quality in terms of everything is best.
It is really good. You make the best memories in college. You get a lot of opportunities and also you learn a lot. It is altogether a new experience. You can never forget JMC. It is awesome in terms of fests, events and everything.
It is just awesome, I would sum up.
Under Delhi University Jesus amd Mary College is considered to be the college with best infrastructure. It has well furnished clasroooms, laboratories and canteen. It has 3 floor Library consisting of the best academic and literary material. It has vide range of socities which help in overall development.
I am B.Sc (H) Mathematics 2nd year student in Jesus and Mary College. Mathematics department consists of well learned proffesors. Whithout any doubt I can say that JMC have best faculty. The proffesors teach the entire syllabus very thoroughly and are the ones who love to take up and explain our problems properly.
Placements of JMC are decent. Students in B.com , Eco Hons. and Math Hons. are placed in reputed firms with decent package. I am not sure about the placement of other courses so I can't say anything about them.
Colleges of Delhi University don't have high fees structure and the facilities and exposure that we get here is much much more than what we pay.
JMC have the best crowd. We in JMC do not consider each other as competitors, we are the one who take best from the people. JMC is a family of beautiful hearts and caring hearts. It is a very happening colleg.
Where do I start? The infrastructure is great to sum it up in one word; lovely red brick buildings, airy classrooms, lots of garden spaces, a massive lawn that is excellently maintained, very well equipped labs for the mathematics and psychology course, a recently renovated auditorium, we have a fully functional gym and the library is a heaven for booklovers. You'll get an amazing plate of bhelpuri at very nominal rates and the chowmein is the signature dish of the canteen.
Currently in my third year of economics Hons. if you compare it to other colleges, students might say its like a school again but that's definitely not the case at JMC. All the teachers show up for classes diligently and actively take efforts to teach you the course, unlike other DU colleges who are nefarious for absent teachers. So in the beginning you might be frustrated with all the classes but trust me it'll help you greatly and you'll not regret it.
We have two placement cells, a main one for the college and another one that functions under a department. You would constantly get messages for recruitment for internships, courses, etc all year round so there is no dearth of internship opportunities.
Do I even need to talk about the course cost? As is with all DU colleges, it is for me a relatively lower cost as compared to private colleges and I feel that the exposure you get at JMC is unmatched anywhere.
The best part about campus is the freedom I must say; the college has an extremely active social life; almost always would you find a department or society fest going on in the amphitheater, performances and talks in the auditorium, dance, drama and singing practices in the common room where you can just sit and observe the societies practicing. And oh there is no dress code at all. None whatsoever. And its very safe in and around the college as it is located in embassy area
One might think that the fact that its an all-girls college might act as an deterrent to "having fun" and it'll just be boring but trust me when I say this, its anything but boring. The freedom, the atmosphere and the very spirit of the college is love itself. Like you will literally be surprised. When you talk to someone, the first and foremost reaction is of such a friendly and helpful nature that it takes you aback. And its natural. Everyone helps everyone always. You'll only get that at JMC
One of the best colleges in Delhi University. The college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Living spaces are just impeccable and scrumptious food options are available in the college canteen!
The quality of teaching is top-notch. Professors are very helpful and kind. The curriculum is updated every year and thereby includes all the recent developments in every field. This college definitely makes a person ready to face challenges in the real world!
The quality of placements at Jesus and Mary College is quiet decent. Most of the students are able to bag the placement in their desired company. Companies like EY, BCG, Deloitte, The Oberoi etc have been recruiting students from JMC.
I've never been to college physically due to the online mode but the pictures and experiences from our seniors tell us how amazing our college infrastructure is. It has airy classrooms, Vennet Hall, the amphitheatre, canteen, an airy field and much more.
I'm doing English Hons and our department is the best in 8ur college. The faculty, pprofessors, syllabus everything is super good. The books, ideas and issues we cover are quite interesting and contemporary so it's very relevant.
The placement rate has been good. Although I'm currently in my first year, I'm part of the placement cell of my college and it works quite efficiently. Our college was one of the first colleges in DU to have the placement cell. We try to get maximum placements to all the students who are part of the placement drive.
My course costs approx ₹15000 per semester. It is totally worth it because we're being provided the best of everything.
I've been living an online college life but the environment is really warm and nice. The heads are really sweet and understanding. They are very responsive and handles all situations in college well.
JMC is one of the best colleges in India. It is really good in everyday. Proud to be a JMCite!❤
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
JMC college and Gargi college both are absolutely wonderful in terms of education and infrastructural facilities, they both provide highly qualified lecturers which provide student best of their abilities and also a wonderful and a calm environment for students to study in .
The placement opportunities in the JMC college for BA history, is good & around 40-50% of students get placed in top companies in the placement cell. Highest package offered to a student recently was 3,00,000 lakhs per annum and on average students get placed with a package salary of 2,00,000 lakhs annum.
Top companies like Deloitte, KMPG, etc take part in the placement cell.
Gargi college has also good placements for its BA history batch students, maximum salary offered to a student recently was 5 lakhs per annum and on average students are placed with a package salary around 2-3 lakhs per annum.
Therefore, both these colleges are very similar in terms of education and placement opportunities. Hence, they both are great and you could go ahead with anyone among them.
I hope the above information helps.
All the very best.
