The overall infrastructure is good with all the required facilities. JEC has a big campus area. There is a common library along with a reading room, and also each department has their individual library. Our college has eight boys hostels and two girls hostels. Equal importance is given to both extracurricular activities and academics. Our college provides Wi-Fi facility in both college and hostel.
Teachers in the college are very strict and disciplined, but they are good, especially the faculty members of the civil engineering department. We are always one step ahead. The teachers make sure we do our things on time and in the most disciplined manner. The syllabus is completed on time, and exams are also held on time
The placement scenario of college has improved a lot in the last few years. Almost 50% of the students got placed in the batch 2014 to 2019. Reputed companies, as well as PSUs, visit the campus regularly. PSUs including OIL and Powergrid have been the top recruiters of JEC. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The infrastructure of our college is in average condition. It is developing. Our Classroom have smart boards and WiFi facilities. Hostels too have very fast internet facilities of LAN. Our college is working at present to develop its infrastructure to a satisfactory level. The labs and classrooms are well organised.
The quality of teaching is aslo fair. Our college provides free GATE coaching to 4th year Students. Every students have to do atleast 3 internships during their academic period to gain industrial exposure.
The placement scenario keeps on changing every year. Nearly 30-40% students gets placed while rest opt for off campus placement drives. Some of the tech companies recruit a good number of students. Some PSUs too come sometimes & recruit 4-5 students. The TPC is constantly working to improve the placement scenario.
Yes, I believe our college provides value for money based education. As it is government college so its educational fees is much less compared to some other engineering colleges. But it tries its best to provide better facilities
The campus life of our college is moderate level. It has many playgrounds to play games like Football, Cricket, volley ball. It also has Table Tennis facilities. Our college has a good gym with satisfactory equipments. The teaching staff is too satisfactory. Many extracurricular clubs are present like Robotics, Literature, Photography etc. which too provide enormous facilities and attracts huge students towards it.
A annual fest is conducted called Phoenix, which is held in the even semester. The campus is serene and timely maintenance is required. It offers a friendly environment.

On the basis of your rank obtained there seems less chances of yours to get CSE in JEC.The rank you obtained does not comes under the closing rank required to get CSE in JEC when compared with previous year closing rank.The previous year closing rank for OBC was between 77-70 .You can also visit the link below to see previous year closing rank of JEC:
