Boys Hostel
The College hostel with a Victory engraved in its name. The grandest abode and the biggest boys hostel of JEC boast of a magnificent 3-storeyed enclosed structure. Established way back in 1969, this 43-year-old hostel has got 68 spacious living rooms with an arrangement of 2 borders per room, unlike all the other hostels. Complete with recreational facilities like TV, Gymnasium, table-tennis, it also bestowed with modern-day amenities like refrigerator, water cooler, scanner, printer, etc.
Girls Hostel
The College Concordia, Hostel 9 is the only girls’ hostel in the JEC campus with a capacity of 160 borders.
Medical/Hospital
The College has a Medical center. It provides all the basic medical facilities to the students of the college. Medicines are provided to the students free of cost. Besides these, it has all the necessary facilities like First Aids, Sick beds. etc.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
Library
The College Central Library was established in 1960 along with its college establishment year. The main objective of the library is to disseminate knowledge among its esteemed users through circulating the resources of the library. The library is located in attached administrative building of the college with an area of 328.19 sq. meters at the ground floor. The library has a reading room facility with a capacity of 20 person seating arrangement at a time. The library has a total collection of 24,576 volumes of books in different subjects.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Transport Facility
The College owns three buses. They run daily from the college to the main town (i.e. Baruah chariali) along the way touching all the major as well as minor stoppages.
Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
Extra Curricular Activities
The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities like NCC.
Training and Placement Cell
The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

College Infrastructure

Jorhat Engineering College (JEC), established in 1960, is one of the oldest and most reputed government engineering colleges in Assam. The college has a long legacy of technical education and continues to play an important role in shaping engineers in the Northeast. Infrastructure:The infrastructure is relatively old compared to newly built institutes, which is understandable given its long history. However, the campus is spacious and functional, providing a decent academic environment. Over the years, improvements have been made and most essential facilities such as laboratories, library, workshops and classrooms are available. The green campus, large playgrounds and peaceful surroundings make student life comfortable. Academics & Faculty:Faculty members are generally experienced, supportive and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Teaching is a mix of theoretical and practical learning, and workshops help students gain hands-on exposure. Being a government institution, academics are structured and disciplined. Campus Life:Campus life at JEC is enjoyable with technical and cultural activities, especially the annual fest “Phoenix.” Students get opportunities to participate in clubs, quizzes, sports and technical events, which contribute to overall personality development. The environment is friendly and promotes bonding among students. Placements & Opportunities:Placement opportunities are decent for a government college in the region. Companies from IT, core engineering and service sectors visit the campus, and students also prepare for higher studies, PSU exams and GATE alongside placements.

College Infrastructure

The infrastucture of the college is not so good . The condition of the classroom not so good , in some rooms the quality of the desk and benches are poor , the windows are broken , the machines in the laboratory are not in good condition . The college also does not have extra separate building for each deparment.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is not so good . There are no water in the toilet . The machines in the laboratory are not in working condition,they need to be repaired. The condition of the classrooms are not so good .

On the basis of your rank obtained there seems less chances of yours to get CSE in JEC.The rank you obtained does not comes under the closing rank required to get CSE in JEC when compared with previous year closing rank.The previous year
