Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology Tavanur admissions are provided at undergraduate and doctoral levels. KCAET Tavanur admissions are available for BTech and PhD courses. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the desired course before starting the admission process. 

For KCAET Tavanur admission in the BTech programme, a good score in the KEAM entrance exam is required. After that, candidates must appear for the counselling process and choose KCAET Tavanur as the preferred college. The selection for PhD is based on merit score, and for BTech it is based on cutoff.

• Apply for the KEAM exam on the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala's official website.
• Complete the KEAM application form with correct personal and academic information.
• Pay the application fee as indicated on the KEAM website.
• Upload required documents such as a photograph, signature, and academic certificates.
• Return the filled-in application form by the due date.
• Download and preserve a copy of the filled-in application for further use.
• Attend the KEAM examination on the given date.
• After the announcement of results, eligible candidates shall be selected for Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology admission on the basis of rank and the cut-off.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to undergo a counselling procedure for allotment of seats.
• After being assigned a seat, report to KCAET for verification of documents and fee payment.

The college provides PhD courses in three specialised areas, which are PhD Agricultural Processing and Food Engineering, PhD Soil and Water Engineering, and PhD Farm Power and Machinery.
