KCAET Tavanur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a library and Information Centre of KCAET (KCAETLIC) that acts as the central point of information needs of the academic as well as the research community in the field of Agricultural Engineering. The library building is located centrally and can be easily accessed from classrooms, laboratories, hostels, etc. It has an area of 620 square meters with the following sections. Presently the library possesses 10 computers and one IBM server machine for its in-house operations and Internet use. The library subscribes to two Internet connections, one with a static IP address and one connection provided in the NME scheme. 

The college has a Spacious Playground available for sports.

The College has A well-established air-conditioned Computer Centre with 40 computers with a high-speed broadband internet connection available in the Academic Block. A Geographical Information System Lab with five Computers is also available in this center.

The college has A Cafeteria available for this college, which serves delicious and hygienic food in an enriched environment.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a majority of the alumni are employed in the State Departments of Agriculture, Groundwater Dept., Soil conservation Dept., Soil Survey Departments, and the KAU. Now, most of the top positions in these departments are occupied by Alumni of the College. Alumni of the College are also occupying prestigious positions in various SAUs, ICAR, National Institutes, Land Boards, Banks, plantation sectors, agribusiness houses, and industries.
