LR Polytechnic Solan offers full-time diploma programmes in engineering and architecture. LR Polytechnic provides a total of 4 diploma programmes, such as Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The institute offers a 3 years of full-time diploma programme. Candidates must meet the LR Polytechnic eligibility criteria for applying to diploma courses. LR Polytechnic admission is based on merit in the previous qualifying examination and the entrance examination conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala.
