Eligibility Criteria
- An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Qualifying examination for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University of Delhi shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
- The applicants seeking admission to the undergraduate courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.
- The applicant should have passed individually in each subject required (including practicals, if any) for calculating merit and eligibility to the course they seek admission in.
Admission Details
- The admission process for Merit based UG admission will be uploaded on the website of the University of Delhi. All aspirants must register online as per the procedure and schedule that will be notified on the University of Delhi website.
- Only eligible applicants who have registered online through the university portal can be considered for admission.
- Applicants will be required to appear in person at the University of Delhi only at the very end of the admission process, for verification of certificates as per the schedule to be announced by the University/ College.
- All other admission procedures are to be completed by the applicant using the unique login ID they create on the Delhi University Undergraduate admissions portal (Registration process to be announced on the University website).

College Infrastructure
I study at Maitreyi College, and the infrastructure here is quite satisfactory. The campus is clean, green, and well-maintained, which creates a pleasant environment for daily college life. Classrooms are spacious, properly ventilated, and suitable for regular teaching. The library is one of the strongest facilities, with a good collection of books and a quiet space for self-study. There are common rooms, a canteen, and open spaces where students can relax between classes. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academics and comfort, making the campus feel safe and organized.

College Infrastructure
Maitreyi College has a warm, welcoming campus with a charm that blends greenery and vibrant student life, though the infrastructure is fairly average. The moment you step in, you’re greeted by sprawling gardens that offer a peaceful escape from the busy Delhi life. These open spaces are perfect for sitting down with friends or just catching some quiet moments between classes. The college buildings, while functional, could use a modern touch. The classrooms are equipped with basic necessities, but they might not be the most high-tech spaces you'll come across. The library has a good collection of books, but its seating arrangements feel a bit cramped during peak hours. Similarly, the sports facilities serve their purpose but could benefit from more updated equipment. The canteen is a popular spot, offering decent food at affordable prices, but the seating area can feel crowded at times. While the college does have a lot of green spaces and a calm atmosphere, it lacks some of the more cutting-edge infrastructure you'd find in other institutions. In short, Maitreyi College’s infrastructure offers comfort and a connection to nature, though it remains modest in terms of modern amenities.
It's amazing to be a part of the instruction.

The college has excellent infrastructure with greenery all around. It's has a huge campus with a big field for sporting events and many more. It's is clean and regularly maintained by the people in charge. It's has spacious classroom and labs to facilitate good education
