Good if you are disciplined don't depend on college

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is quite basic for an MBA program. Classrooms are average, and projectors don’t always work properly. The library has some good books, but the collection feels outdated for management studies. There’s no proper cafeteria; food options are limited, and the campus lacks modern amenities like dedicated discussion rooms or lounges. Overall, infrastructure needs serious improvement.

    Academics

Academics are decent. Some professors are knowledgeable and teach well, but a few classes can feel unstructured and boring. The curriculum is okay but doesn’t include much on the latest trends like digital marketing or AI applications. Practical exposure is limited, and case studies are not done often enough. You can learn well if you put in extra effort on your own.

    Placements

Placements are disappointing. Most companies coming here offer roles in sales with very basic packages around ₹3-4 LPA. Core MBA domains like finance or HR see very few opportunities. The placement cell tries, but the lack of industry connections shows. If you want a good job, you’ll have to network and apply off-campus. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it based on placements alone

    Value for Money

The fees are affordable compared to other MBA colleges, but the facilities and placements don’t justify the cost. For the money you’re paying, they need to improve infrastructure and bring in better companies for placements. Right now, it feels like you get what you pay for—not much beyond the basics.

    Campus Life

Campus life is okay but nothing special. There are some events and management fests, but they’re not very well-organized. The crowd is mixed—some students are serious about their future, while others are just passing time. There’s not much interaction with alumni or industry experts. It’s fine if you focus on studies, but don’t expect an exciting campus vibe.

    Others

If you’re considering an MBA here, think carefully. The academics are manageable, but the infrastructure and placements don’t meet expectations. It’s okay if you’re looking for an affordable option, but for serious career growth, you might want to explore other colleges with stronger industry links.

    College Infrastructure

Facilities here are quite decent. Classrooms are average-not so great, but not bad either. All the labs are well-equipped, but you cannot come there freely and start working on your ideas anytime you want.

    Academics

The academics here are mediocre. Most lecturers just read notes during lectures, while only a few genuinely tried to teach well. The majority seem to be keen to finish the syllabus rather than making sure that the students really know what was taught.

    Placements

Placements here are very fewer in number. Very few get placed here and you can hardly count them on your fingers. Average salary package is 4-5 LPA, which is not much motivating, placement must be little higher

    Value for Money

Fees must be low as it provide placement.

    Campus Life

    It is quite decent.

    Plz focus on the infrastructure

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is okay but not extraordinary. Classrooms are spacious, and some have projectors, but they don’t always work properly. The labs are functional but could use more advanced equipment. The library has basic engineering books, but you might need to rely on online resources for recent material. Wi-Fi is available but gets slow when too many students use it. The hostel is decent but not very modern, and the mess food is edible but not great.

    Academics

Academics are a positive aspect here. Most professors explain concepts well and try to make subjects interesting. The BTech curriculum covers the fundamentals, but the inclusion of recent technologies and trends could make it better. Practical sessions are helpful, though sometimes there’s a wait for lab equipment. Overall, the teaching is good, and you’ll gain a strong foundation if you put in effort.

    Placements

Placements are average. Most companies that visit are IT firms, and a few core engineering companies. Packages range from ₹3-6 LPA, with only a handful of students getting higher offers. The placement cell is supportive, but you need to work on your skills independently to land a good job. It’s a fair opportunity for freshers, but expectations should be realistic.

    Value for Money

For the fees charged, it’s fairly reasonable. The college provides the basic facilities and a decent education. However, improving lab equipment and bringing in more companies for placements would make it better value for money. If you’re on a budget, it’s still a good option.

    Campus Life

Campus life is quite active. There are tech fests, cultural events, and sports activities to keep you engaged. The crowd is diverse, and it’s easy to make friends. Security on campus is good, and there are plenty of places nearby to hang out. It’s a nice balance of fun and studies

    Others

Overall, the BTech program is decent for the cost. Academics are solid, and campus life is enjoyable, but infrastructure and placements leave room for improvement. It’s a good place for building your basics, but you’ll need to be proactive to make the most of it.

    College Infrastructure

The college has a great setup with lots of useful facilities. You can use bikes to get around the campus, which is super convenient. The hostel is spacious and comfortable, with a gym and a play area for students. There are plenty of canteens to grab food, and the medical facilities are good too.

    Academics

Teaching is okay, but the poor management itself contributes to very hectic things everywhere. Even the professors seem frustrated due to all these rules and lack of proper organization. Generally disappointing experience at this price just for the name.

    Placements

The placements at this college are above average and surprisingly have improved over the last few years despite the recession in the country. Top roles, mainly managerial, are offered to the best students. Many top companies visit the campus for recruitment.

    Others

Campus is not so big and there are more restrictions.

Actually, MIET has great infrastructure and lies in the very heart of the city, so it is very easy to get there with various transport options. The campus is very safe; security measures, especially concerning women, are very strong due to the round-the-clock presence of security guards.

    Academics

Miet is also very good for academics. The teachers here are well-experienced, and the library too is quite good. In fact, the teachers are really helpful in grooming the students. The placement drives also give everybody a fair chance to explore all job opportunities.

    Placements

the placement drives provide valuable exposure to job opportunities and help with future career planning. With focused effort, students can still land placements with well-known brands like Indiamart,Deloitte etc

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is very good. Each one of the laboratories is spacious, and the sports center is massive in size along with the big hostels. The campus is clean and green. Hygienic food in the canteen is served, and all equipment are available.

    Academics

The academics are excellent. The curriculum has excellent development, updating, and focuses on making job-ready students. All the lecturers are PhD holders and have outstanding quality in teaching. They are supportive and approachable teachers.

    Placements

MBA placements are pretty good, with nearly 60% of my batch securing jobs. The average salary being paid out is around 2-3 LPA, with some higher packages too. Most the jobs placed is in finance and accounts. The placement cell is supportive, but you need to be an outshining one - very proactive.

    Best private college in meerut

    College Infrastructure

Facilities provided are all the basic ones, like Wi-Fi, a very well-stocked library, IT labs, and lab sessions regularly. The quality of food, classrooms, and activities is excellent. Even the MBA students get air-conditioned classrooms.

    Academics

The instructors are excellent and really helpful. They are knowledgeable, well qualified, and always ready to help. Relevance of the curricula to the industry is excellent; it prepares the students to compete in the industry. Semester exams are manageable.

    Placements

The placements are average. Some students are placed into some good packages, while others are hired by mass recruiters. According to seniors, the placement opportunities are neither too many nor too few; it is a moderate level of chances.

    College Infrastructure

All facilities are provided in the college, such as Wi-Fi, a strong library with books, IT labs, regular lab conduction, and on the whole, the quality of food, classrooms, and activities are good. For the MBA students, there are air-conditioned classrooms too.

    Academics

The faculties here are the best and helpful. All the faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares a student for the industry. Semester exams are also fairly easy to handle.

    Placements

About 20-30% of the students get placed, and average salary packages run between 3 to 4 LPA. The sales companies dominate most of the recruiters. In case of internships, the students achieve around 60-70% of them mainly through the college's effort. The college really manages the placement and internship process well. And to be honest they don't deliver what they promised.

    Value for Money

They charges too much fees, but don't provide placement accordingly.

    Most professors teaches from notes

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Average facilities. Wi-Fi exists here, but it is not very effective when it comes to an engineering college. Classrooms and labs are very good, but one cannot have free use of the labs for personal projects. Two libraries-one central and one within the building with decent capacity exist here.

    Academics

Most professors stick to reading from notes rather than making lessons interesting. While a few are good teachers, majority focus on just finishing the syllabus rather than really teaching. It often becomes too dull and questioning you about your choices.

    Placements

Placement opportunities are fewer in numbers and could be counted on fingers. The average salary package is of around 3 lakh per year, while most of the placements are in service or marketing roles. Internships are available, though you will need to find them mostly on your own.

    College Infrastructure

Average facilities. The Wi-Fi is there, but it really doesn't make a lot of sense in the context of an engineering college. Classrooms and labs are pretty good, but you can't go into the labs freely to work on your own projects, really. There are two libraries, one in the middle and one within the building structure, with pretty decent capacity.

    Academics

Most professors here tend to read from notes instead of presenting something lively. A few are good teachers, though most of them care more about finishing the syllabus than teaching something. It feels like something very boring sometimes, you ask yourself where you made the mistake. Every month, the exams remind you how truly the learning takes a back seat.

    Placements

Placement opportunities are relatively few. You can almost count them on your fingers. The average salary package is about 3 lakh per year. Most of the placements happen in service marketing roles. Internships are available, but they usually depend on you to search for them.

    Value for Money

    Definitely not.

When choosing between MIET (Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology), Meerut, and KIT (Kanpur Institute of Technology), Kanpur, for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), several factors should be considered to determine which college might be the better fit for you.

    MIET, Meerut:

    • Reputation: MIET is one of the more established institutions in the region, known for its consistent academic performance and focus on engineering disciplines.
    • Infrastructure: The college has a well-equipped infrastructure with modern labs, libraries, and other facilities crucial for CSE students.

    Hello,

A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.

The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.

As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.

Here are some details. Your choice is yours to make.

    Good Luck!!
