Hostel facilities offer good food services, and the college also has medical facilities with a dedicated room for emergencies. Additionally, bus services are available for students commuting from nearby areas, making travel convenient. The college encourages extracurricular activities with sports grounds and indoor game facilities.
Many teachers use presentations and case studies to explain concepts, making learning more engaging. They also provide notes and important questions for exams, which were very beneficial. Their ongoing support in projects, coding practices, and interview preparation significantly shaped our professional journey.
Around 70 to 80% of MCA students from our batch got jobs. The highest salary was 18 LPA, while the average salary is about 4 to 5 LPA. Roles offered to MCA students included Software Developer, Data Analyst, System Engineer, Project Associate, and Cloud Specialist. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Sopra Steria, Newgen Software, Tavant Technologies, and Mindfire Solutions hired students from our college.

Exams follow AKTU’s evaluation system, with internals and externals held every semester. The pass percentage requirement is 33% per subject, and most students manage to qualify comfortably with adequate preparation.
The college has a broad network of hiring partners across India and provides full support for placements. The highest package reached 9.20 LPA, while the average package is around 3.2 LPA. Some of the top companies hiring MCA graduates include Webkul Software, Sopra Steria, Birlasoft.
The infrastructure is good and well-equipped in almost every area.The computer labs are well-maintained.Hostel food is below average .However, sports opportunities are excellent.The library is quiet and has enough technical resources along with e-materials for computer-related subjects.
The program offers good industry exposure through seminars and workshops, though the syllabus generally follows the AKTU curriculum. Faculty members also focus on placement preparation and help students with competitive exams if needed.
Campus drives happen regularly, and MCA students often get several chances to interview with different companies. The placement department supports our course and offers guidance during the selection process.
The campus includes a well-maintained girls’ hostel and boys’ hostels nearby, both managed by the institute. Classrooms are spacious, and many are air-conditioned, making learning comfortable. Computer labs are modern, featuring high-speed systems and the latest software, which are very useful for MCA students.
Professors focus on practical learning and project-based assignments instead of just theoretical knowledge. This approach helps students build confidence in programming, software development, and new technologies.
For MCA students, placement packages range from 5 LPA to 14 LPA, depending on their skills and performance in interviews. Even students who aren’t immediately seeking full-time jobs can gain valuable experience through internships organized by the placement cell.
MIET’s infrastructure is decent and helps with both academic and extracurricular growth. The computer labs are modern and well-equipped with the necessary software, which is a big plus for MCA students. Wi-Fi is stable across the campus.
The MCA course follows the AKTU curriculum, but MIET works to keep students up to date with industry needs. Some faculty members are very motivating and guide us in project work, coding contests, and seminars. They encourage participation in hackathons and workshops on topics like machine learning, cloud services etc.
Unlike many other institutes, MIET attracts not only BPO companies but also genuine IT firms that offer growth opportunities. Companies like Suntech Global, Algoworks, Webkul Software, QA Infotech, PolicyBazaar Tech, Birlasoft, and Sopra Steria regularly recruit from here.

Sports facilities are quite good, offering grounds for cricket and football, along with indoor games. The campus provides medical support, though it could be more responsive at times.
