College literally have a very good infrastructure as compared to other DU colleges but the only thing ghat stopped me for giving it more review is the problem of AC and Wifi. Also I feel that like depts like geography have their own sections and there classes are held in those rooms only this should be done for other depts al well so student do not have to roam to get an empty class to have lecture

Academic level is top notch and very good professors specially I would say for philosophy they are great and nice. Gives thorough understanding to subject matter and the idea studied. Lovedddddddd itttt

And placement in Miranda house is, I would say not that great or oriented to cooperate life, especially for the courses like philosophy. Students generally try by their own through internships and other ways.

Of feel that me being part of house is a total value for money because of its less fees, high engagement, improvement and communication skills and various other aspects of life that shape a human nicely

The safe and the campus life is very engaging being in an all girls. College feels very safe and engaging at the same time. The campus life is very peaceful and calm. I would say greenery is also very great

our college infrastructure is good but at some parts its not well maintained like drc but overall its good we have alot of thinfs like classrooms acs sport ground lift library restrooms siting areas shades so great.

I'm studying philosophy for civil services further the quality of teaching is overall good and the curriculum is updated and it includes things that are recently updated too and classes feel interactive and good.

the quality of the placement is good 75% people get placed everytime highest package that was offered according to my knowledge is 45 lpa that was offered to economics hons average salary ranges between 25-45 k a month .

i paid 16000 rs for the course and overall i think its value for money as we get alot of recreation the college .and quality of study and services provided is also good to me and yes we get support from friends and teahers too .its worthy

campus life is also good my college campus is very pretty and i dont find any worst feature in that in our college we study play discuss we also do movie screening and trips and again cultural fests of my college that awesome .location is also good near vishwavidyalaya metro station.

Speaking of the infrastructure-not all classrooms are equipped with projectors and are not huge enough to accommodate large number of students. At times,it becomes chaotic and students have to adjust accordingly.For example,many students opt for a popular course,like political science in their GE and the allotted classrooms falll short of benches. But in other courses/classes, I feel this basic infrastructure is sufficient and somehow students/teacher-find other alternatives,to compensate for the absence of projectors in classrooms. I personally feel that the living spaces,especially the lawns are quite vibrant and the college doesn’t compromise on cleanliness.One can find wide range of books in the college library too-books ranging from subjects like sociology,polity,philosophy,law to mathematics,physics etc.The canteen food is also hygienic,tasty and budget-friendly in my opinion. The utensils are also properly washed the workers also wear gloves.

It’s been only one year since I joined this college,so I got to interact with only a few professors. I’m pursing BAhons philosophy,as my subject interest lies in theoretical aspects and I like questioning assumptions and reflect on things deeply, analytically. As a UPSC aspirant,I feel this course will also help as my optional,and solving ethics paper and answer questions in interviews. My course (philosophy hons) demands critical thinking,questioning and debating in classrooms,so few of my professors do not focus only on rote learning,but conceptual understanding by linking our syllabus with real-life situations. They try to make make classes sound interactive,instead of a monologue and the assignments like performing a play,writing movie reviews also create more interest towards the subject. But again this quality of teaching varies amongst the teacher and the course. Few professors put you in uncomfortable situations and make us reflect deeply,whereas few just recite lines from the reader and strictly stick to the syllabus.I feel any course,by itself doesn’t make us job-ready,but the skills and competency we develop in this journey makes us ready.

I’m still in my first year,so I don’t really know much about the placements and all. But I feel that the quality of the placements is good in my college,and I’m saying this based on an orientation event of the placement cell,which i attended.

My college fees costed around 16K per year and this amount varies by course. Yes,I feel that I’m getting my money’s worth as I get access to knowledge in library,from my teachers and interactive discussions in classrooms. Also,due to national conferences,speaker sessions,hosted by my department,we get direct access to interact with various scholars from various fields in philosophy and gain very useful insights from them.

The best thing here is diversity-one can get to meet people from various background and alll over the country. It’s fun to interact with diverse people and learn their language. Days during even semester is very happening -one can see the Nescafé lawns decorated with beautiful stalls,crowd from various departments and colleges,as almost everyday some of the other event takes place. Like one day it’s a department festival of a particular department and the next day it’s a society fest. The seniors I came across, are also very sweet and welcoming. They do not sound superior or dominant and are very helpful in nature. It’s definitely fun to be a part of societies as they not only help in skill enhancement,but also add meaning and memories to your college life.

I feel college experience is a subjective matter,but I personally feel that friends play a huge role in it. Even though one ended up in a course which they didn’t prefer,dislike their professors or get fed up by the tantrums the admin office people throw,the harsh weather conditions in Delhi,despite everything-one finds peace when they are with their right people-friends.

Infrastructure i would say is the best in Delhi University. All basic facilities are available like water coolers, even all the departments are wellequipped. we have wifi , computers, projectors, digital library and all other field work instruments.

I am studying geogralhy hons, college is known for its academics. we have well educated teachers but i feel their teaching methods are not good. There is a communication gap between teachers and students. Study material is often not provided, from where to study nothing is informed to us. we go to college and come back after a boring lecture. teachers come and simply start speaking like robots. For example, i have statistics class, so the teacher will come and give us formula of regression without making us understand what it is, whats its use. We dont have any material to study for viva. Though some teachers are good as well.

I personally have no idea regarding placements in my own course but we have a placement cell in college which is active and works whole year. we have various sessions and workshops regarding placements as well.

my course costs max about 17k per year. it is definitely worth it and being a part of college doesnt mean being part of only a course. our college provides us various opportunities to nurture ourselves. we have various societies which we can be part of. and honestly i feel more lucky to be part of miranda than being part of my course.

campus is very beautiful, very positive. All the miranda girls are very sweet and helpful. Staff is somewhat rude. teachers are 50-50 , some are rude and some are very sweet and softspoken. overall campus life is good.

As a Hindi Honours student at Miranda House, I find the academics enriching. The professors are knowledgeable, supportive, and encourage critical thinking and discussions. Inshot the professors are Fantastic.

Placements at Miranda House are decent, especially for commerce and science courses. Humanities students also get exposure through internships, societies, and skill-building opportunities. But For Language side people it will provide you guidance only as I know.

Miranda House offers excellent value for money with quality education, experienced faculty, active societies, and exposure at an affordable fee structure. For Ba Hindi Hons the fee structure is really affordable.

Miranda house is dream of many. And honestly, its a good college. Being the top tier college, its worth going for. The college is well maintained, has the necessary items. Off course the quantity can always be improved but uts worth it. Definitely

The academics is good. The students in here are those who ate already good in good in academics. The college provides the right environment to them. But still you have to put efforts individually to gain something.

I dont have much idea about that. . However a lot of students do internships. See the degree itself isn't enough. But you gather other essentials along the way. However we have societies like placement cell and all so. So there are definitely options.

Value for money, definitely. It's quite affordable, inside the college atleast. Amd if you manage hostel, its sorted. The pg expenses could be a bit tricky. And living in the capital too isn't exactly cheap.

Its vibrant for sure. You wont doubt that if you enter Miranda. Fests season is bang on. Being in north campus, the vibes are immaculate. Its definitely worth it. Apart from it inside the college to something or the other is always going on.

Quality of placement is good as mostly students get placed around 80% are placed everytime the highest package goes around 30 lpa that goes to economics and computer science average salary would be around 35 k according to my knowledge.
