I really had a great experience in the college.

    College Infrastructure

The overall infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are well ventilated and well lit. The campus is neat and clean. But air conditioners are not there which makes it really hot and humid during summers

    Academics

In terms of academics, it's the best college as per the ranking. The quality of teaching is really good and it makes students efficient enough to propel in their respective fields. About 80% of the students opt for higher studies and the rest compete for civil services.

    Placements

Placements need to be improved because the average salary offered is really very less compared to other institutions like IITs, IIMs. The college has a placement cell which makes the process of selection very smooth.

    Value for Money

15000 INR (approx). I think the college fee is worth it because it is really less compared to other institutions but competes with them in terms of academics, reasearch, teaching methods, etc. The college also provides scholarship to students from economically weaker sections.

    Campus Life

Campus Life is best compared to other educational institutions. Students get exposure to a lot of co-curricular activities like music, dance and sports including basketball and archery, NCC, NSS, etc.

    Others

The overall campus life is great and it provides a sense of freedom to all the women studying there. I would say that Miranda House is the best educational institution for girls from different fields.

    My overall experience is satisfactory.

    College Infrastructure

College campus is really pretty full of lush greenery. The classrooms are well maintained. Library is good. Wifi on campus works. But ACs are available only in few classes and smart boards doesn't work in some of the classes.

    Academics

Teachers are quite good. They are friendly and helpful. The classroom environment is very interactive. The quality of teaching is good. Many educational seminars are conducted from time to time which are quite interesting.

    Placements

The placements are quite good. Many good companies come for the job fair held every year. The placement cell of the college makes the process of placement easy and convenient. There are placements for internships, part time, full time.

    Value for Money

The college is absolutely value for money since it is a government college. The fees is quite nominal compared to the quality of education provided here . But the cost of living in Delhi is high. It may range from 10,000 per month to whatever your pocket allows.

    Campus Life

Campus Life is great. There are multiple societies which you can join as per your interest. There are a lot of extra-curriculars. You can explore a number of things within the college campus as well as outside the college.

The college is great platform of opportunities for exploring

    College Infrastructure

The college has all necessary infrastructure - labs, water cooler, kanteen, washrooms, hostel, play ground, basket ball court, department rooms, computer labs. There is need of more classrooms though .

    Academics

I'm enrolled in BA English Hons. Curriculum is up to date as per the New Education policy. But studying this subject is not making us ready for job. It is just our perspective is widened. There is unnecessary emphasise on assignments and presentations.

    Placements

I'm second year student, not sure about placements. But as per seniors it is decent. You can contact alumni and look about it on internet as well. But it will be hard to find course specific placement data. It is better to contact alumni.

    Value for Money

The cost of course is nearly 14k per year. It is value for money

    Campus Life

The campus is very vibrant accomodating girls from various parts of India

    Academics

    Placements

As I have heard from our seniors that placement opportunities are quite good in our college but I don't have much idea about it personally average salary pakage could be 7LPA I guess. College is always supportive during placements.

    Value for Money

The cost of our course per year is 14,000 and apart from it there are a lot of things to be bought. Plus including our pg rent it becomes difficult to manage everything altogether but still overall everything is paid off since I have a lot of expectations from my college.

    Hello aspirant,

To enroll in the B.A Psychology (Hons.) program at Delhi University, you must fulfill the criteria of selecting one language from list A, two subjects from B1, and one subject from either B1 or B2.

So to pursue Pol science, you are not required to give general test.

    Thank you

    Hope this information helps you.

I have B.A.(Hons) Sociology in Miranda house , Delhi university right now and i also gave nid's entrance exam this year . So which is better nid or du? should i drop out of miranda house for nid?

    Hello,

B.A hons. Sociology and NID are two different fields one is a degree course and other is a professional course in designing.in b.a sociology it not only provides knowledge of the books but also provides knowledge more about fieldwork and practice. placement is decent as many companies visit for on campus placement.

NID also provides internship and placement to the students in designing field.so it is upto you which course you want to pursue.dont go for good value and placement college you end up with frustration after sometime if you are not interested in the field.

    Hope you understand...

The merit the is calculated by considering the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry only.
