My college faculty are supportive and the quality of placement is pretty good. College is very welcoming to any type of student and our library is first library that provide readings to visually impaired students.
12000 per year maybe ... yes, i feel that i am getting my money's worth. As i say earlier that my faculty teachers are very nice ..... and they always ready to help their students. Our teacher's faculty is really very supportive.
My college is in north campus and it's really best and for me demerit is travelling. I have to travel a lot for reaching college earlier. Our college is very very safe for girls. It's really very protective for girls.
Our college has wifi facilities, labs, many gorgeous lawns, multiple cafeterias, classrooms with proper infrastructure. The overall infrastructure is of high quality with supportive staff members and professors.
Professors in the English Department are experts in their fields, and all of them are authors of many published papers and a part of DU syllabus making committees. MH also invites many speakers from other well known institutes and Universities to conduct seminars, paper presentations and for many other extra curricular programs
I don't know anything about placement. But we have a placement cell in our college and it's really active and they organise many meetings. I guess Art students don't have placement opportunities as Students frm Science background.
English Honours cost around 13,000 yearly. The professors are experts in their fields with immense exposure and a high quality campus life makes our money worth. The fact tht MH the Number 1 college in all india ranking alone makes our money worth.
There we get one of the best campus vibes where you will meet many unique powerful women. Have great exposure to different opportunities with numerous societies and clubs. Students, teachers and lab staffs are very supporting.
Overall Miranda House is a great college where you will find a new self with some great perspectives. For me MH is my 2nd home with a great family. Overall Miranda House is an amazing collage with great opportunities.
Miranda House is one if tye cleanest and safest campus. It's known for the majestic red bricks and lush green lawns. The college has all necessary facilities including modern science labs, classrooms and a rich library. The campus is cleaned frequently and one could find any corner of the college lovely. The hostel itself is a heritage building with all necessary facilities and is Wifi maintained. The food is delicious and hygienic and the campus and hostel are completely secure spaces.
I pursue English honours and the syllabus thatvthe university provides is outstanding. The teachers in the college department have proved their talents in their respectable reserch areas and they provide one of the richest learning experience in collection. One would be completely satisfied by the syllabus, method of teaching and the dedication they provide.
The college has a Placement cell which equips one on how to prepare for interviews. It also provides us with recent job opportunities and also interactive sessions with notable persons. The college offers various placement offers every year in different fields.
The fees is paid annually and English hons. costs around Rs.13000. The department provides efficientteachers, a rich learning experience and interactive sessions with highly skilled personalities and the money is hence utilised. There are various scholarships offered by the department and the college as well.
Miranda House provides a great campus life that one could cherish. It is the best place that every lady aspires for and a perfect space for enriching your talents. The college has societies that helps one nourish their tastes and it produces lalarge number of audacious ladies every year. It's one if the safest campus in the nation one could find ladies with strong feminist opinions as well as any important issue that we encounter. Doubts apart, Miranda is a perfect college that one could opt for
Miranda has fairly decent infrastructure, and the gardens and lawn spaces are very beautiful. The newly built science building is by far the most modernized and efficient in functioning. The library is well-managed and peaceful, and older classrooms are well-maintained too. The WiFi services can be a problem at times, but that is true for most colleges. There are three canteens, varying in affordability - so you can take your pick! Most people swear by Pam Cafe!
Depending upon your expectations, teaching might prove either satisfactory or slightly underwhelming for you. Most teachers do their best, and the general curriculum is what is lacking, one might say. You might luck out with some excellent professors -- and academic conferences, seminars, and overall opportunities offered in Delhi help you surpass the monotony of classes. College has proven to be more about self-study and making the most of opportunities through participation outside of class!
The placements at Miranda House are really good, since it enjoys a high rank in the University, and the Placement Cell is organizing meetings and seminars throughout the year for greater awareness among the students. Salaries differ from course to course, though, but placements opportunities are fairly good.
The semester fee varies from 14k-20k and is more than affordable according to middle-class standards. The experience is definitely worth it, since the institute not only carries with it a lot of prestige, but also helps you look at opportunities both outside Delhi and India, with greater confidence. The value is not served to you, but you have to meaningfully extract it, but the college surely helps you to do that.
The campus experience both within and outside the college, is both challenging and very exciting. If you don't belong to Delhi, it might be a little difficult at first, but North Campus has a place for everyone. You'll get a chance to visit other colleges through activities like debating, theatre, other societies. If you're looking forward to the protest culture and learning more about student politics, you'll get a chance to do that too.
Miranda House is a great place to be yourself, and to get comfortable in your own skin. You'll also find that academics is much more than rote-learning, and that there is a variety of student experiences, and that there is no one perfect 'college life'. Good luck!
The infrastructure is greatand up to date. With well kept infrastructure, good shape of classrooms and laboratories, with the library kept well, the lawns maintained throughout the year, Miranda indeed has DU's best infrastructure. The sports centre, the hostel and spaces like thereading room, the seminar hall, the heritage hall add to the facilities. The college is supplemented with a WIFI Facility as well. The college canteen is DU's healthiest and most well kept with high standards of hygiene
I am currently pursuing BA H Political Science as I ahve always been inclined towards the study of society the functioning of its core structures and how things could be changed, if at all. The quality of teaching is appreciable. While definitely it doesn't make me job ready, albeit for a teaching job it does; the curriculum has major essential topics covered well.
The college has some of the most distinguished placements in various fields from politics, bureaucracy, Corporate world to performing arts. Since the subjects offered are majorly academic oriented, most students either get placed or pursue higher studies.
The course costed me 12350 per annum and definitely that is very decent a cost for the standard of learning, facilities and the infrastructural environment the college provides for. Definitely worth of the money, well beyond it!
Campus life at Miranda House is something everyone outside of it envies. Lush lawns, well kept classes, an array of events, fests, gatherings and otherwise too, the college is always full of life and colour. The students, teachers and the staff jel really well. Very safe, very supportive and definitely ready for all kind of emergencies, except rains. Rains fill the college with water, but that is not specific to Miranda, but entire north campus.
2 years in Miranda were amazing. Too much to learn, too much to take. A little overwhelming in the beginning, once you gel with the surroundings, the cats, the people and the food, there is nothing better than Miranda to ask for!
The MIRANDA HOUSE, University of Delhi has a great infrastructure with all proper and essential facilities.Advanced equipmets in the labs, proper courts amazing hostel with so much greenery and thousands of flowers, proper connection of Wifi in the whole college, hygienic and tasty canteen. Miranda has 3 main canteens. In PAM canteen there are lots of refreshing drinks and all fresh snacks. There is one Nescafe canteen. And then our main main canteen. A proper well structured college!
I am persuing Bsc Physcis hons because I love the subject and basically astronomy and the quality of our faculty is beyond my imagination. They all are too good and supporting. The labs are very well maintained.
MIRANDA HOUSE is 1st ranked college. The same follow in the placement. Not know much about the salary offered and other things because I never asked about it. But yes one can get all the new experience and exposure here.
The average is 19000/year. And I really think sometimes that its worth it because the quality of education they give to us and the exposure to all the curriculum activities and many more are really appreciable.
Our Miranda House campus is so beautiful and energetic 24/7. One can feel the energy in the air of our campus. Students - Teachers life are same as it should be. Proper guidance with proper obedience.
Miranda House has one of the best infrastructure in Delhi University. We have beautiful lawns inside the campus. The labs, library, the classrooms are very well maintained. There are two canteens, a nescafe and pam cafe which provides us with the tastiest and the hygienic food. The college hostel is amongst the oldest resedential buildings in the University. It provides all the facilities to the students.
MH offers various UG and PG courses. The teachers here are really well trained and very helpful. Not just in academia but also they guide us in other co curricular activities and all. Also, Miranda House has ranked first among colleges in India by NIRF in 2017, 18, 19, 20. Thus, being the best college in India its quality of teaching Is excellent.
It provides good placements and internships to the students. We have an active placement cell which provides guidance and job opportunities to us. We also have annual internship fair organized by the cell in the college. MH is visited by hell lot of companies which includes WIPRO, Tata, HP Ltd., Indian Express, HCL Tech., etc
My course just costs Rs 14160 and I think it is pretty feasible and WORTH it!!!!! The environment here is amazing and it shapes you as a more confident person.
The campus life is beautiful. Besides academics, the college offers many opportunities to showcase your skills. It constitutes various societies like the fine arts, debating, dancing, the dramatics, and what not. We have Women's development cell to deal with any kind of problem in the campus.
For me Miranda is not a college, it's my home. I am really happy to be a part of it. It totally changed my life and always helped me to grow. #PROUDMIRANDIAN
Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. All of them are well maintained and very hygienic. It's a great pleasure to be a part of such an institution which looks after all our needs.
The quality of teaching is great here, the professors are really cooperative and always available for the students. There are different curricular activities being taking place in the college which helps us to improve our personalities by taking part in it.
Since it's a famous college, the placements here are also good. There is a separate society which looks after all the placements. They also help students in finding internships. The companies which come here are really good and offer great job opportunities.
The cost of my course is totally affordable and it's worth it. It also offers scholarships to students who need it and thus making it very inclusive.
Miranda house has a very inclusive and safe space. It always helps us to identify our talents and work for our own improvement.
Just amazing! Glad I picked miranda. Amazing infrastructure and faculty. We do have wifi facility and projectors in class rooms. They all are well maintained and used frequently by professors and students.
Everything is just so smooth. Am studying sanskrit honours. Proffesor of Sanskrit department are really good, always ready to help, dedicative and strict too! My curriculum is updated on time that's the best thing ever.
I have never tried for it but there is placement cell, which provides placements. students get placements by placement cell mostly. definetly it's not easy for everyone to make through it, some of the students don't even know we have placement cell.
20k for my course. And it's worth! Costs of every course are different. And I think it's quite reasonable. Admission in India's top college is amazing and what would be more amazing when you get it into reasonable fees.
The best feature is societies". College societies are open and that's the best part, anyone can make it through audition. And auditions improves self confidence. Students are really good and helpful! Similarly professors!
No one should dump MIRANDA if she does she will regret! Miranda is quite warm place for every girl. Once you get into college you will feel like home and that's the best thing. Friends, teachers, canteen, Pam everything is just so special!
The campus is green, highly aesthetic and clean. The library is the way it should be quiet and full of interesting books along with a friendly staff to help out the visually impaired students. The wifi doesn't work in all the corners of the college. Need to put in some efforts to identify all the wifi spots.
The Professors are true to the discipline. Very straight and strict towary internals and assignments. Will be a good idea if teachers in Delhi University try to Innovate their old teaching methods . Modules will be really helpful .
Not a member of placement cell. So no idea. But as far as I have heard from other mates in college ,placement is not that good as compared with other colleges of Delhi University. But yeah the college is supportive.
The course is worth the money paid. Alreay the fees is minimal and in share to that knowledge imparted is not compromised.
Best- college lawns, worst- can't think of any .
