Both NM and mithibai are well know college in mumbai and both have good education and placment history..

Lets compare on a wider section :

NM cutoff is much higher than mithibai

Managenment and infrastructure is good in mithibai than in NM

Nm is more strict than mithibai .In Nm you got intellectual student than in mithibai.

If you are more focusing on studies than can go for NM or if you want some non stict college than can go for mithibai..

Feel free to ask..

Their student for admission in in Mithila bhai college in the course of FYBA from SY BSc of another college you have to submit number 1 requisite fees, number 2 to qualify examinations paper, number 3 the 12 standard examination certificate which will be of 45 marks in aggregate and should be passed in one chance.

Hi Dear,

Hello,

In Mithbai College, admission of students into the autonomous degree courses is done on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination. So there are high chances that you might get a seat in this college. You are required to register online for taking admission in this course.

Hope this helps! All the best!

Yes, why not. If you have proper credentials then you can easily apply for these colleges.

Admission to Mithibai College is done through online mode. The application form releases in May for UG programmes,

The college offers Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) in various disciplines.

Admission is purely on the Merit basis.

All the best!!

From my perspective Mithibai is a better choice as compared to Dahanukar since it's quite reputed and has a higher rating by NAAC. But on the other hand I would suggest you to go for Dahanukar if you are pursuing any professional course alongside like CA, CS or CMA since there would be no strict attendance norms for the same. Attendance norms are more strict in Mithibai as compared to Dahanukar.

Hey Anshita

First of all I want to tell you that if you wantt o do graduation and persue post graduation after this then please dont tak egeneral bcom and only go for bcom honours , no matter which college provides it. As for your chances in admission to the mentioned colleges I am sorry but Narsee Monjee has a cutoff above 91.8% for general category and St Xaviers too is expected to have a cutoff above 91% for non christians. HR also has a cutoff above 90% and Mithibai and RA Poddar will have no less than 90% as they are premiere colleges. Moreover this year most cbse as well as isc students have got higher than usual marks hence the cutoff is only expected to increase. You can check out the full list at https://university.careers360.com/articles/mumbai-university-cutoff#Mumbai-University-Cut-off-2020--Expected There are some colleges mentioned in this list where you can get admission. All the best.

Hello Tanmay ,

College are meant for learning and college ranking doesn't make college or teaching good but students make them.So its up to you which college you refer and take admission.

If you are good with academics and everything you can get placements from any of these college easily because you have worked hard for it.

But if you want to to rank me I would just prdect my first preference for colleges.

1.Mithabai college

2.Narsee monjee college of commerce

3.K.J Somaiya college of commerce

Placements: 3.6/5
Value for Money: 3.7/5

My experience is decent overall it's a great place to be in

College Infrastructure

It has decent infrastructure with facilities as well.Classrooms are well equipped with proper benches and well conditioned too.Only thing I'd say is that the lifts are a problem during early morning rush hours.

A bit long.

College Infrastructure

Just consists of a building, no campus as such. Even the cafeteria was under renovation and there was no alternative when I was studying here. Too many students for the space available. Only the lab was decent, but again, it gets crowded very easily.

diverse courses, mumbai university affiliated college

College Infrastructure

mithibai has a desent infra with AC classroom & labs. Compact 3-acre campus in a building shared with other colleges. Good library & gymkhan. Canteen food is a mixed bag. Lifts can be insuffucent. overall functions but now sparwling
