The College has three Boys Hostels on the campus with a total capacity of more than 400 students. Every Hostel has been provided with modern facilities, meeting the requirements of students. Nalanda hostel is just another home for the students. As a 24 x 7 campus, the hostel gives the comfort and feel of being with one’s family. In addition, state-of-the-art security technology is being deployed to ensure complete safety for all residents. The master plan of the college has a `spine’ that connects the hostel and academic areas. At present, all academic programs at Nalanda are 100% residential. A student who wishes to complete his studies at a top-notch institution needs to pass through a rigorous academic program. Most students find that they have to work extra hours and stretch themselves fully to benefit from the learning experience. Campus learning in a true sense must, therefore, integrate classroom learning with tangible and intangible experiences outside the classroom and class time. This requires building a variety of facilities and creating an ambiance that is conducive to learning. Some salient features of the student hostel are Well-furnished, single and twin-sharing accommodation, and earth-air cooled hostel rooms. Each room is positioned to provide a beautiful view of the surrounding. 24-hour Internet connection in the rooms through Wi-Fi. Thirty-six students are housed on each floor, at full capacity. One Dining Hall, suitably furnished equipped with a TV. On-campus sports facilities on the campus including volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, badminton, and table tennis.

The institute has a dedicated, large, spacious & well-furnished library for its students. Well-equipped professional facilities which include an E-Library with a collection of more than 30,000 books, thousands of journals (National and International), weekly & monthly magazines, daily newspapers in English, Oriya, and Hindi are available for both students and staff. The library at Nalanda emanates the ethos of the Engineering College. It is a major attraction for students as not only does it offer a variety of academic information, it also stimulates the intellectual pursuit of students in a lovely ambiance. The library is open from morning till late evening and even till midnight during examinations. Apart from books on technical subjects related to discipline and courses, it houses books of general interest, magazines, and daily newspapers. Well equipped with more than 50 journals in print, both national and international, the library supports the research needs across varied disciplines. The library facilitates the purchase of textbooks for students on the basis of individual requests received at the time of registration. A library is a necessity in one’s academic life, and the library at Nalanda gives a fabulous enabling environment to research and is indeed the ‘room for the birth of ideas.

The college has an excellent transport facility for the faculty, staff & students with a flexible and competitive fare. Over six hundred students in the college are availing bus facility from the Institute. They have trained bus drivers who are efficient in their work. Above all this student protection is the main motto that we have maintained till now. The Institute buses are operated in many different- routes across Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

The ATM facility is provided throughout the day i.e., 24 hours for quick and fast financial transactions. The Institute is all set to open a dedicated Branch of PNB inside the Campus.
