NDA Pune is a well-reputed government institution that was established in the year 1955. National Defence Academy is a joint services institute that trains cadets of the Indian Army, Indian air force & Indian Navy. NDA Pune offers courses affiliated under the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. There are 3 degrees and 6 courses at the NDA Pune. After completion of one year of training there, students are commissioned as officers in the Indian Navy,  Air Force And Army.

It is a 40 minute drive from the NDA Pune campus and is situated 24 kms away. The Pune Sus Stand, Shivajinagar, is also 17 kms away and takes 30 minutes to reach the NDA Pune campus from here.
