NDA Pune is a well-reputed government institution that was established in the year 1955. National Defence Academy is a joint services institute that trains cadets of the Indian Army, Indian air force & Indian Navy. NDA Pune Admission
NDA Pune admissions offer undergraduate programmes in the field of Engineering, Science and Arts. NDA Pune accepts admission for Army, Air Force and Navy forces of India. The NDA Pune admission process is completely based on an entrance exam followed by an interview. NDA Pune has its own entrance examination known as the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Before applying for the NDA Pune admissions, a candidate must meet the eligibility criteria. The age requirement for NDA Pune admission is minimum 16.5 and maximum age limit of 19.5 years. The army wing requires passing in the 10+2 exam. While the NDA Pune admission to Indian Air Force and Navy requires passing 10+2 with subjects such as Physics and Mathematics. After clearing the written test, selected candidates need to appear in the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.
How to apply for NDA Pune admissions?
The Union Public Service Commission will release the notification regarding admissions on its official website at upsc.gov.in
Candidates must read the notification completely and check the eligibility criteria thoroughly.

Candidates who meet the UPSC NDA eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply online. The application form fee is ₹100 for General and OBC category candidates and Nil for others.
The UPSC application form must be filled completely and correctly and upload all the required documents.
After the completion of the registration process, applicants would receive a confirmation on mail regarding the same.
NDA Pune UG Admissions 2024
At undergraduate level NDA Pune admissions are offered to B.Tech, B.Sc and BA programmes. NDA Pune UG admissions are offered for 3 to 4-year duration.

NDA Pune Admission Process 2024
The applicants will be required to enter their preference of exam centres while filling the application form.
UPSC releases the admit cards online. Applicants need to use their registration number to view and download the same.
Candidates have to appear in the written test and perform well in it, as it forms the basis of the selection process.
Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for the SSB interview.
NDA final merit list is prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the written exam and the SSB interview.
Selected candidates from the SSB interview will be called for medical examination. Candidates declared physically fit in all respects will be commissioned as Cadets in various academies of Indian Army Forces.
The UPSC will issue the final call letter to the candidates who qualified in all the levels of the NDA selection process.
