NISM Navi Mumbai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has one of the finest library infrastructure facilities on the campus spread over a 20,000 sq. ft. area. NISM library is a specialized library exclusively focused on securities markets and related areas. The library resource consists of a collection of over 9400+ books, together with journals, databases, periodicals, and films and the collection is ever-increasing. Though the library has been built up mainly to cater to the needs of the securities markets sector, it is well equipped in subjects like economics, finance, banking, statistics, business, financial risk management, investment, quantitative methods, etc. The library has subscribed to 7 online databases, i.e. Bloomberg, Prowess, Indiastat, EBSCO, EBSCO E-books, Science Direct, J-gate. The library has also facilitated plagiarism checking through Turnitin software. 

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The college SMART lab is the centerpiece of NISM’s innovative learning resource, which hosts a trading room. Asset price data is received from the NSECM, BSECM, and Derivatives segment of the exchanges. The SMART lab is equipped with workstations that facilitate trading in equity and F&O segments of the National and Bombay stock exchanges. The prices of assets are live (5 minutes delayed). Trade and order matching algorithms are the same as those allowed by the exchanges. The front-end trading screen is similar to the NEAT brokers trading screen. The objective of this lab is to bridge the gap between theory and practice. This lab is having 60 workstations on the Patalganga campus and 36 on its Vashi campus. 

The College has well furnished and equipped amphitheater with having a seating capacity of over 1000. A fully Air-conditioned and ultra-modern auditorium. 

The College is served by a conveniently located Health Centre. The doctors and staff of the Health Centre are committed to the health and well-being of the campus community. 

The College has a well-furnished separate hostel for boys. Each room of the hostel is equipped with a bed, mattress, table, chair, book rack, and cupboard with an attached bathroom and toilet. Students can opt for hostel accommodation on twin occupancy or single occupancy as well as with air-conditioning facility. The hostel also provides Laundry and ironing facility.

The College has State of Art sports facilities including Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Tennis courts, etc. Indoor games such as Badminton court, Table Tennis, Squash court, fully equipped gym, yoga/prayer room, and a pool room as well as a semi Olympic swimming pool.
