PIET Panipat Admission Process
Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Panipat offers admissions to diploma, UG and PG programmes. PIET admissions to the B.Tech programmes are made based on JEE Main exam scores. M.Tech admissions at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology are offered based on the scores secured in GATE exam.

D.Pharma and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are the two programmes that are offered for PIET Panipat UG Admission. 75% of sanctioned intake shall be filled through counselling of HSTES. The remaining vacant or unfilled seats will be filled through institute-level manual counselling.

Academics
Academics are the strength of PIET, and that is ensured by the NAAC A grade certification. The curriculum offered by PIET is as per global education standards. Major programs are NBA ( National Board of Accreditation) accredited, which further provides strength to the curriculum. PIET focuses on interdisciplinary learning, and this gives us the opportunity to choose electives from other programs. The curriculum includes projecrt based learning, industry visits, workshops, and internships.
College Infra
PIET has a well designed infrastructure equpped with modern amenities. PIET has AC classrooms, an open-air theatre, dedicated labs, 24/7 Wi-Fi connectivity, projectors, research spaces, sports facilities, and medical support. The whole campus is designed in way that you don't have to go for a long walk to get to another academic block; there is no hustle and bustle. Hostels are clean, and the food is good, with different types of cuisine.
Campus Life
Last week, the AWS Cloud Club from the CSE department organized a cloud computing session where experts in cloud computing guided students and listened to their doubts. Like this, there are many clubs and socieities which students can join as per their preferences. I am a fitness enthusiast, and most of my time after classes is spent in the gym, and after the gym, i play badminton for cardio, which makes my life at PIET more meaningful. Campus life is engaging and good, with lots of events happening throughout the year.
Placements
I was worried while joining PIET for B.Tech because i wanted to do B.Tech with an AI and DS specialization, and it is a new program, so i was in doubt whether i made the right choice or not. But the situation is totally opposite. PIET has a dedicated placement cell named the Career Advancement Cell, which handles internships and placements. But the situation is totally opposite. CAC provides opportunities to students by connecting them with top companies for internships, and it also organizes joint placement drives where companies actively recruit students.
Value For Money
PIET is totally worth it it terms of fees. The money that you spend here on your education is returned with 100% ROI in terms of jobs. Almost 90% of students get recruited through on campus placements , and the other 10% opt for higher studies or start their own businesses. The facilities and education that PIET offers are rare to find in other colleges at this cost of education.

Academics
I honestly didn't want a degree where i would just be learning theories and practicing coding. That's why i'm so glad i picked BCA CTIS at PIET. We jumped straight into deep end with Cloud Tech and Security from day one, which was exactly what i wanted. Everything we touch, from virtualization to data protection, feels like stuff I'll actually use in a real job. It's definitely a challenge, but i finally feel like i'm learning things will give my career a strong head start.
College Infra
I usually spend more time in the labs than in my own room because the setup at PIET is just that good. I am talking about high-speed systems that don't lag when you're running heavy simulations, and the whole vibe is of a modern tech infrastructure. the smart classrooms are top-notch. as for the hostels, they've managed to ditch that cold, institutional feel. It genuinely feels like a second home where you can actually relax after a long day of coding.
Campus Life
Campus life here is just WOW! I recently joined the Cloud Club's introductory session on AWS, and it was awesome to see so many people having the same mindset i do. But it's never all about screens and servers; the festivals here are legendary. Whether it's the massive vibe during Holi or the peaceful energy of Vasant Panchami, the campus literally transforms with lights and music. There's always something happening that makes you feel part of a community, and that balance is what keeps us all sane during exam season.
Placements
I feel like the Career Advancement Cell (CAC) is our backbone here. They actually put in the work to get us ready. I've watched my seniors go through these intense mock interviews and grooming sessions that totally transformed how carry themselves.
Since my specialization is demanding. I really appreciate that the cell brings in recruiters, specifically the Cloud and Security experts. It's a huge relief knowing there's a team working around the clock just to make sure we land our dream roles.
Value For Money
When i looked at the fee structure on the website, roughly INR 1,10,000 per year, i wasn't sure how this specialized BCA would be. But i'm getting industry-aligned certifications, high-end lab access, and a very focused placement cell for a fraction of what people pay at big-city private universities. For level of exposure i am getting. I feel like every rupee is an investment. It's affordable without compromising on the quality of the education or the faculty we interact with daily.

Academics here are intense but in a good way. we aren't just stuck with textbooks; the focus is heavily on what's happening now in the tech world. A major highlight recently was our industrial visit to SCL Mohali. seeing semiconductor fabrication and VLSI processes up close was a wonderful moment. Also, hackathons are basically a must here. in Hacktu 7.0, the energy was off the charts, and i was so happy to see one of my own batchmates take home a win.
College Infra
The infrastructure here is just incredible. It doesn't feel like those old, dusty engineering colleges you see in movies. The ECE wing is sleek, and the labs are actually updated with the stuff you'll see in the industry, like VLSI design tools and specialized loT kits that we actually get to use. the whole campus has high-speed Wi-FI, and the smart classrooms make the long lectures way less boring. It's a clean, modern space that actually makes you feel like a "techie" the moment you walk in.
Campus Life
The energy on campus right now is just different! We recently hosted Prof. Ved Prakash for a talk on global education trends, and it was actually super inspiring. Currently, PIET Quest 2026 is going on, and the preparation is non-stop. But it's not all work; the Maestros and Myntra Glam Fest we just had were absolutely awesome. It was the perfect mix of fun, fashion, and creativity that we all needed. It's wonderful place if you want to study hard and party harder.
Placements
I will be honest about the numbers, since that's what everyone asks first. the placement cell is pretty relentless; they start preparing us early with mock interviews and coding practice. I have heard my senios getting placed with average packages of 5-6 LPA. The highest last year was 45 LPA which is just wow. Whether you are into core electronics or chasing big names like Amazon, the platform is right here. If you've got the skills, you're set for life.
Value For Money
If you check the official site, the fees are quite reasonable compared to the massive private universities or colleges. for about INR 1.80 lakh a year, I am getting NBA-accredited labs, the AICTE-IDEA Lab access, and exposure i'd usually only expect at an IIT. Plus, if you're smart, the PIET Quest scholarships can literally pay for you education. For me, it literally did! When i consider the placement opportunities and tech exposure, the ROI is definitely one of the best you'll find in the Delhi-NCR circuit.

which is much better for cse among chandigarh university , PIET panipat or seth jai parkash mukand lal radaur yamunanagar?
I have attatched the links for seth jai prakash mukund lal institute of engineering and technology yamunanagar and panipat institute of engineering and technology panipat for you to compare.
