The college does not have much higher placement packages to offer as per the placement records. But it provides average placement opportunities to the students.

PlacementsAt Parul University:The placements has remained quite high every year. In comparison to the upcoming years the numbers of students getting placed across all over the country has increased greatly. The highest salary for the year 2018 is 19 lacs, the average salary is 5-6 lacs per annum and the lowest salary offered to any student getting placed is around 2-3 lacs per annum according to the latest placement of parul university. Various companies visit parul in order to get students placed not only in Gujarat but from all over the country, Especially for mechanical engineering placements the companies like Tega works, L & T, Taegutec, elmex electric Ltd, decathlon, kataria automobiles, integration points, saurer textile solutions, the sanmar groups, etc. The students who got placed during this campus selection were given high chances for their career, they we're given high salaries, bond sign for a year and many more. Around 10-15% students got elected for the internship, many students got opportunities to get an intern. There is a great learning experience through out the internship programme including stipend too. The highest stipend depends upon the students ability. The placement cell of parul university is much more effective in overall development of students. They give placements as per the required demand of the company.

placements At VIT :companies that come to VIT are divided into three categories namely:

Mass Recruiter : 3.2 - 3.4 LPA

Dream Offer : 4 - 8 LPA

Super Dream Offer : 10+ LPA

In VIT if you are an average student or maybe a little below average you will end up with one of the Mass Recruiter Companies for sure.

Now coming back to the question the average package for a CSE student is about 5 LPA - 5.5 LPA (Differs from year to year).

But if you are above average student you will definitely get a Dream Offer and that too somewhere around 6 - 7 LPA.

The highest package this year was 27 LPA (Amazon).

This year we had 800 students in CSE branch. Out of the total students who sat for the placements about 95% are placed. About 150 students got a Super Dream offer. And I think about 60% of the students who sat for the placements got a Dream Offer, despite a downfall in the industry this year.

when comparing both the Universities VIT will be the winner as there are lot of placements than PU.
