Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program Affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram and approved by AICTE New Delhi.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the core Engineering branches started at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology in the year 2004 with an undergraduate program (B.Tech.) affiliated to M. G. University, Kottayam, Kerala with a sanctioned strength of 60 students. The department in its 12th year is functioning in KE Block second Floor with a good infrastructure. The department started its PG program in Industrial Drives and Control in the year 2010 with a sanctioned strength of 18 students. In 2012, the student strength was increased to 24 students. Since 2015, institution is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has B.Tech degree program under KTU & MGU and M.Tech IDAC under KTU (Ernakulum Cluster 1).

He/She should be qualified in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination for being eligible for admission in all seats, other than NRI quota.
50% of the total seats in B.Tech courses are set apart for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.15% of seats within sanctioned intake is provided for NRI category and is given on the basis of marks obtained for PCM in 12th standard. Remaining seats are College Merit seats, allotted on merit by ranking applicants on the basis of marks obtained for PCM (12th standard only) and for Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination.
Students having a pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.
