I am happy with the institute that the faculty emphasises more on applying concepts in real life rather than just simply scoring well in exams. We are constantly expected to analyse situations, present solutions and justify our decisions. It’s not always easy, but those experiences has made me confident in expressing and working with other people.
College Infra
The campus is small but provides a good learning environment. It has all the essentials required for students life. The best part is that the Institute allows all students the freedom to access thencomputer lab, Library and the green area as long as we want even after classes
Placements
I can really say that the Institute is really serious about Career preparation. From the very first semester day, arranged placement activities and industry interactions. The placement record over the last 3 to 5 years has been going really well.

The academic experience is quite interactive and most classes involve discussionsand project work instead of just covering syllabus. Since business analytics is a field that keeps evolving, the faculties often connect classroom concepts with current industry practices and all students enjoy this approach more relevant and useful.
College Infra
From an infrastructure point of view, the institute offers a comfortable learning environment. The classrooms are equipped with all the necessary facilities. The library also provides good resources for assignments and research. The campus is not extravagant, but it is well organised and suitable for a professional management program.
Placements
Career preparation is another area where RIIM consistently invest time in. They offer various training and development sessions along with aptitude and excel classes. The average package is around 7lpa ctc and most students gets this package.

Academics
In terms of the curriculum, it is quite limited and not so updated. But what I appreciate most is that the faculties involves us in solving business problems and presenting our ideas in front of the class. Attendance in this institute is very strict by the way.
College Infra
The infrastructure is decent. I wish the campus was larger, but it is does have all the required facilities for a student life. We have access to computer lab, Library, canteen, Indoor games and activity halls. Also, the campus is very clean and well maintained with proper staffing.
Placements
Placement is guaranteed but the package depends on our skill sets and requirement of the companies. Not every student gets huge packages so it is clearly competitive. It is very important to keep in touch with the placement cell as they keep the students informed about opportunities and guide the students in the process of applying internships and jobs

Which is best for PGDM, RIIM Pune or KIMS? And which one is best in terms of placement?
Ramchandran International institute of management is a much better option than Kirloskar Institute of Management Studies, Pune for PGDM. Overall performance and quality of riims is much better. Regarding placement both are great and offer 80% placement. Riims is better as it also provides industrial tours ,education tours abroad etc.
