Rayat and Bahra College of Engineering and Biotechnology for Women, Mohali Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has two hostels for girls within the campus. Each hostel has an activity center, common room, reading room, dining room with the mess, canteen till late hours & other basic amenities like hot water supply in winter. Two new hotels are under construction to provide in-house residential facilities to aspiring students.

The College has a well-managed library is an essential input to academics; it is always a crucial learning resource for students of professional courses. RBCEBTW has established a well-stocked library stocked with a large collection of books and journals. With more than 5000 books and more than 2000 titles, the latest national and international journals, newspapers, library facility is a focus of students. The Library has the membership of DELNET (Developing Loping Libraries Network) which provides the users 1400 online journals and related articles. For efficient management, the library is fully computerized with the application of the latest software.

The College has Chemistry Lab has all the facilities that cater to the need of the syllabus. Students are seen applying concepts learned in the theory. The lab is equipped with the best experimental material. There is a scope for undertaking additional experiments as well in order to widen the practical knowledge of the students, Communication is the epitome of human civilization. An individual’s ability to communicate effectively determines his success. Effective communication is given special importance here. Communication Skills is equipped with the latest language software, audio-visual aids procured from foreign countries. It has a television, DVD, OHP, Multimedia, Microphone, and audio system. In these lab activities like group discussions, seminars, role-playing, mock interviews, role-playing, and public speaking are organized to enhance the effectiveness of communication skills of our students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The College has a well-equipped medical center to provide first aid and prompt medical care round the clock. Doctors are available to meet any emergency in the institute or hostel. A first-aid facility is available.

The College has a fleet of 5 well-maintained buses, bringing students & staff from all important cities, towns, and villages within a radius of 60 Kms.

The College has a basic necessity shop on the campus. Stationers shop where students can purchase stationery, toiletries, and other necessities. There is a confectionery shop, STD booth, Xerox facility on the campus.
