RCM Bhubaneswar Admission Process

The Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar (RCM Bhubaneswar), has a rich legacy, it has cradled many entrants looking for the right ladder to success. Students are selected on the basis of competitive scores on many acceptable national-level exams. All AICTE approval has lent to offering a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management and computer applications. Admission cycles usually begin in the months preceding the beginning of academic sessions. MBA accepts CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), and the state-level examination OJEE as selection criteria.

The MCA program considers NIMCET (National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test) away from the state-level OJEE. The qualifications for the program are usually specific to each one. For all its postgraduate programs-the MBA, MCA, and the rest-candidates typically must have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Programs like BBA and BCA mandate that candidates must have completed their 10 +2 degrees from a recognized board.

Application Process

Application procedures for RCM Bhubaneswar vary with the programs:

1. Choose one program (MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, PGDM, or MA Tourism Administration).

2. Check whether you fulfillethe eligibility criteria for the program decided on.

3. For MBA and MCA, appear for the respective entrance exams (CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, OJEE, NIMCET).(Equal importance of a written exam).    Expectations are always deserving deeds.

4. Once the result is there, go to the site of RCM Bhubaneswar and find out more about the application process.

5. Fill in the online form correctly and upload scanned copies of the following (much the same ones as for admission):

  • Passport size photograph
  • Mark sheets of 10th and 12th.
  • Graduation mark sheet (in case of postgraduate programs)
  • Covered the score card of the entrance examination
  • Any other certificates set in the admission letter

6. Pay the application fee as given on the website.

7. Deliver the properly filled form.

8. For some courses, shortlisted candidates may be provided with the written test/group discussion/personal interview

9. The final selection will be made on the student's performance in the entrance examination, academic records, and interview, if any.

Degree wise Admission Process

MBA: The Post Graduate Management Degree MBA has an offered intake of 180 students at RCM Bhubaneswar. A student from anywhere is eligible to apply if they have a valid score for OJEE, MAT, CAT, XAT, or CMAT.

MCA: The Master of Computer Applications followed by at least a UG degree having intake 120 (one hundred twenty) students. The admission process for MCA depends upon a candidate's score in OJEE or NIMCET (National Institute of Technology Master Computer Applications Common Entrance Test) that is similar to MBA.

BBA: The BBA program allows 120 candidates. Although it is unclear; however, in all probability it is done with respect to merit/performance in the above mentioned secondary classes and with or without an additional entrance test or/and interview.

BCA: Bachelor of Computer Applications program downgraded from BCA to BCA has an approved intake of 120 seats. This program is similar to BBA, which focuses towards undergraduate merit.

PGDM: Post Graduate Diploma Management is proposed to be offered. Provided recruitment figures are not presented at the applicants yet. This is very likely to be close to the MBA process.

MA Tourism Administration: Entry is based strictly on merit Pathway. This likely would involve evaluation of the undergraduate performance by a committee at the Institution itself and maybe an additional consideration of personal interview or entrance test.

Hello,

Both the colleges are good, they are really a good Universities for career making and educational quality.
.
But the differences you will find are,

RCM is a autonomous college
.
LPU has a greater campus when compared to RCM
.
Facilities are more in LPU when compared to RCM.
.
LPU is 18th ranked and Has been rated with AAA+ but there is no such ranking and rating for RCM
.
Facilities like , guest room , parking facility, guest room are not Available in RCM college.
.
Fees structure will have a differences of 1 to 3L as courses may vary.

Hey Young Mind!!!

Although the fee structure of IIBS Bangalore remains lower compared to RCM Banglaore. In IIBS PGFM is Full time mode with a duration of 2 Years

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Program with the duration of the full-time PGDM course is 2 years.

PGDM Specialisation

Marketing Management(MM)

Finance & Banking Management

Human Resource (HR) Management

Insurance Management

Business Analytics Management

IT Management

International Business Management

It is moderately good and the placement records show around 70% students receive good placements. However their course is still unapproved

But when it comes to RCM there admission process is quite stringent and difficult to make through, like they follow four different stages

  • Eligible candidates will be intimated to appear in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Final Selection will be done on the basis of
  • Career Marks
  • Score in the Test (CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT / State Level)
  • Score in GD/PI

Whereas In RSB, it is AICTE APPROVED well recognised institution but here the admission is based on

  1. Academic Record
  2. Aptitude test
  3. Group Discussion
  4. Industrial Experience

Though it is a wise choice too, based on the comparison you can choose

Hope it cleares your doubts!!!
