My experience at the college was really good.

    College Infrastructure

The college has got good number of classrooms. There is proper cleanliness. There is a library, an auditorium, a seminar room, and a canteen which serves mouth watering and hygienic food. The college also has a gym for the students.

    Academics

The faculty is very nice and is well versed with the course curriculum. The teachers are very helpful and always available to solve all the doubts and queries of the students. Even during the online classes, the teachers delivered all the lectures very effectively.

    Placements

The placement cell 'Saksham' is very active in bringing good amount of placement and internship opportunities for the students. The students also participate very actively in the activities of the cell. The cell also conducts its annual placement fest.

    Value for Money

Satyawati is a pocket friendly college with an annual fees of around 8k.

    Campus Life

There are a lot of societies in which the students can participate. Hence there are a lot of opportunities for the students to grow apart from the academics.

    College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is really good. Library is well stacked. It timely get updated with new books. It has subscribed more than 15 newspaper and magazines. Sitting area is nice and silent. Classrooms are well ventilated. Desks are quite comfortable. Auditorium is amazing. The auditorium of Satyawati college is biggest in entire DU. There is almost all sports facilities. Be it football ground or cricket pitch, volleyball court or Basketball court, wrestling or kabaddi court etc.

    Academics

I am pursuing History hons. as i want to be an IAS officer. Quality of teaching is really good. All teachers are well qualified and friendly in nature. Curriculum gets updated every 3-4 years. Teachers not only focus on theoretical teaching but also on practical teaching. We often visit historical sites . There is also a menor-mentee group in which each teacher is assigned 20 students and mentor helps them not only in professional life but also in personal lives too.

    Placements

There are ample amount of placement opportunities. Saksham: the placement and E-cell of our college act as bridge between various MNCs and students. More than 600 students have got placements in recent years. The highest salary package till now is 32.5 LPA. Average salary package till now is nearly about 8 LPA and these figures are increasing year by year. Placement process is quite easy. Placement society keep updating about new opportunities through its Instagram handle as well whatsapp groups

    Value for Money

History hons. course costs nearly 8000 rupees per year, which is too cheap as compared to other colleges. You can get your money refunded if you draw back your admission. The course is totally worth it. Such type of quality education at such a cheaper cost is hard to get now-a-days.

    Campus Life

College campus is amazing. Crowd is diverse. There are more than 20 societies both regulated and non-regulated to help students develop their overall personality. Socities like Saksham, Tedx, Enactus, Abhivyakti, NCC, NSS etc. help students to know their potential. College hosts various types of fests, cultural programmes and sports activities frequently. The location of college is quite good. Nearest metro station is Azadpur which is about 1 km. There are affordable accomodations near college.

    Others

Certainly most students prefer main colleges of North campus. But for any reason you don't get college there, then Satyawati is best option for you.

Currently I'm pursuing BA (Hons) Political Science as it gives us a deep knowledge of various political theories and also about How The Government's machinery works. Teaching quality is very good as the teachers are highly qualified and tend to explain the in-depth of every topic. The curriculum of BA (Hons) Political Science is updated timely, it gives us yhe opportunity to pursue career as a Civil servant, Political Scientist, Journalist, Professor, Public Relations Specialist and many more.

    Placements

To provide Placements to students the college has its own Placement Cell (Saksham) that helds the Placement & Internship fair (Innovision), and regularly internships & placements are also provided. The enrolled students in the placements provided by the college was 50 - 60% in recent year's Innovision. The highest package was of 14.5 LPA and mostly students from Commerce background are favoured by various companies. The average package was around 6 - 8 LPA.

    Value for Money

The fee for BA (Hons) Political Science is 7655 per annum. Well, one can easily afford the education from the institution as the fee is very minimal. The money was worth it all as the teachers are highly qualified and teaches in an excellent way. Also infrastructure and environment of college is too good.

    Campus Life

Overall college is so good in University of Delhi as here you meet so much like minded persons who are ambitious, consistent and disciplined. Students can engage in various activities as college has so much societies such Saksham (placement & e-cell), The Third Act ( Drama society), Cinepat (film society), Tasveer (photography society), Abhvyakti (debating society). Overall students, teachers and staff is supportive, and resolve every query/ problems of students.

    amazing

    College Infrastructure

With the biggest auditorium among all colleges of Delhi University, Satyawati college definitely has a good infrastructural setup. The college has all necessary amenities along with a huge ground and two buildings which fit all the students with great ease. The library has all the required course books and more. All in all, the living spaces of the college are clean and hygienic.

    Academics

I am in my first year of college, pursuing BA (Hons) Economics from Satyawati College. The central part of my first semester went online; we all got used to attending virtual lectures. But since the reopening of DU colleges, the studies are being conducted offline, and they honestly feel much better. This is not only due to the face-to-face interactions with the teacher and classmates but also because the classroom itself inculcates a learning environment in all the students.

    Placements

Saksham: the Placement and E-cell of Satyawati College (M) serves as an interface between the students and respective recruiters and helps them get the proper exposure for their lives post-college. The average package that has been provided by the cell has been 6LPA, the highest package being 32.5LPA. The cell is constantly posting new placement opportunities for the students of all courses and years of our college and provides support to anyone who's stuck.

    Value for Money

Satyawati college is definitely worth college money because it provides all-around excellence to all those who strive for it. I paid a fee of INR 7655 for BA (Hons) Economics, and I feel that the college lives up to the experience of the expenditure incurred on it.

    Campus Life

The campus life of Satyawati College is immaculate. The students are intellectual, interactive, and down-to-earth. The surrounding area of the college is also very safe and enjoyable. Although the college does not possess hostel facilities, students can easily find affordable PGs and flats in proximity to the college.

    Others

My personal experience at the college till yet has been really great. My dream as a grade 12 student had been to get admission into a good college, and I feel that Satyawati college has lived up to my expectations.

    JOURNEY TO SATYAWATI COLLEGE

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Satyawati college has a good infrastructure with a boon of having the best auditorium in the whole campus of DU. The classes are well maintained but have to be repaired to some extent. Laboratories, library, wifi, etc are quite good. Also, their girls common room which is quite awesome and the canteen food is hygienic too.

    Academics

I am currently pursuing b.com(hons.) as it is considered best to be studied degree course if you are doing CA. The teachers are good enough but not all teachers come to this category. Syllabus is all together the same as it is formed by DU and what I am studying has given me the theorical knowledge about the course. To make it job ready, everyone has to implement it in one or the other way by having internships as their first option.

    Placements

The placement cell of Satyawati college is Saksham and the placement are quite good too. The annual fest called INNOVISION invites many reputed companies to recruit students like EY, OYO, ZOMATO, BYJU'S etc. The highest placed salary went to 32 LPA and average salary package of the college is 5-6 LPA. The placement process is quite simple. You just have to fill a google form and the company will contact you for interview.

    Value for Money

The fees of my course was 7655 INR per year and it is quite feasible and worth it because we are getting many facilities in this much amount.

    Campus Life

The best part of the campus is the crowd and exposure you get. There are many activities in which a student can engage their hobbies like dance, singing, dramatics, social service, entrepreneurship etc. The teachers and staff are quite supportive. The location of the college is very prime as it is located in Ashok vihar and guys do try different cuisine out there along with having yourself in the most safest place.

Satyawati College is no less than any North Campus College!

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college has all the necessary infrastructure. The condition of classrooms and washrooms can be improved. The seminar room, auditorium and other places are well maintained. We have wifi in the campus and the food is average.

    Academics

I'm studying economic hons because I want to pursue the field of data analysis. The quality of teaching is good. The faculty is highly educated and and they teach us very well. Yes, the curriculum is updated and it makes us job ready.

    Placements

The quality of placements have improved in the past few years and it's continuously improving. Around 60% of students get placed but only around 20% of the students go for the placements as most of them go for higher studies. The highest package was 32.5 LPA offered to 2 or 3 students of economics hons. The average salary is 50k per month. The placement cell is continuously working on placements. Most of the placements come during the annual placement fare, i.e., Innovision.

    Value for Money

The cost is very minimal. It costed me ₹7,666 fir the first year. This is definitely worth it as we're getting every facility in just 7.6k rupees.

    Campus Life

The campus life is really amazing. We have the biggest auditorium of the Delhi University. The ground is amazing. The condition of washrooms need to be improved. Students can engage in n number of activities like dance, drama, music etc. We have a lot of societies like NCC, NSS, Enactus, Saksham - The Placement, Career Counselling and E Cell etc. We have a mixed crowd in case of students. The location is also good and we have a women helpline booth just in front of the college.

    It was a decent decision.

    College Infrastructure

Though the college infrastructure makes available every amenity, it calls for high maintenance. The old building needs some classrooms to be painted, computer equipments to be replaced and so forth. The new building of the college is to a degree better and bearable.

    Academics

Each and every professor is well-read. From getting personal to academic problems solved, students know whom to run to. I have not found any mentor who is worthy of criticism. From explaining concepts to help you drown that in practical life, the faculty of the college are industry experientials who can show you that.

    Placements

Satyawati have not had a good placement record prior to 2016, following to what it's placement cell revamped. Now, frequent internships are offered with companies. Reputed firms like D.E Shaw, Deloitte etc. have visited the campus and picked students, majorly from commerce backgrounds.

    Value for Money

The fee structure is decent. From wi-fi to canteen food, from gymnasium to latest book editions, the college does not lag any. Overall, it is a complete package in return of the fees we're asked for.

    Campus Life

The crowd for popularly opted courses like B.com/Political Science/Economic Honors is really competitive, not withstanding to less frequently opted courses like Sanskrit/Hindi Honors. You'll get to grasp so much at every stage.

    Others

Admission in Satyawati college is fairly acceptable. Its locale, student crowd, professors and extra curricular activities offered are more than enough to not let you regret your entry to this institution.

    The Satyawati College

    College Infrastructure

Recently a new building has been constructed with new classroom and the auditorium. A library with wide spectrum of books. well equipped Computer lab, Cricket and football ground. Basically all are fully function on the daily basis and are well maintained. Campus is clean and promote swach Bharat mission.

    Academics

I am currently pursuing Bachelors of art in economics and mathematics. The teacher are very learned. Well familiar with technology in this pandemic era. Always find new ways to convey the knowledge they posses. The college come under Delhi University so the curriculum is according to it updated on timely basis.

    Placements

The placement of the college is seen by The placement, e-cell and career counselling society SAKSHAM. Saksham is leaded and managed by the students of various courses and years with 60+members. Th major recruiters of last year are BYJUES, ZOMATO, SWIGGY, OYO, DECATHALON, IDBI LIFE INSURENCE, TRESVISTA, URBAN COMPANY and the list goes on. With the highest package of 32lakhs. And this year we are expecting even more in our annual Placement fair THE INNOVISION 2022. With new opportunities to come.

    Value for Money

Being under the DU, the central university the fees of every course is very nominal. Ranging from 7k to 16k per annum. My course fee is rupees 7655. And there are very scholarships to support the one who cant afford to pay. So no such issue of fees in any of the college in DU.

    Insights of Satyawati College

    College Infrastructure

The college has a decent infrastructure, with well maintained classrooms. The living spaces are clean and food is hygenic as well. The library is good and the sport centres are active as well. Overall, it's a good experience.

    Academics

I am currently oursuing Economics Honours and it's a very sought after course. The quality of teaching is really good. The teachers are young, experienced and really kind. The curriculum isn't updated, like the recent developments aren't included in the syllabus. But this isn't a drawback as it's not possible to update the syllabus frequently as well.

    Placements

Placements are average. But the placement cell of our college Saksham Society has always thrived to make the things even better. Placements have always been a major part of most of the students' college life. Satyawati college has also improved ever since.

    Value for Money

Yes. The college is really affordable for all the students. My course fee is 7655 per year, it's quite affordable. Yes I do feel that I am getting my money's worth as we are getting quality education, good faculty and exposure that we desire.

    Campus Life

The best features of our college campus is that our auditorium is the biggest auditorium of entire Delhi University. The worst thing is that the college is quite conjusted at a small place. Students can engage in various kind of activities, like take part in various societies and get the right kind of exposure. The students, teachers, and support staff are all good. The location of the college is safe as well.
