The college has a fully functional health center with a doctor in place to offer medical care for minor ailments and first aid. In case of emergency, students will be taken to Dr. Hedegewar Hospital for treatment through a standby ambulance service that is available 24/7.

The College library is well maintained and well furnished. A total of 57073 books are available in our library. The college has 40071 books out of these books 2456 titles more than 24 Magazines and 31 National & International journals are subscribed to currently which facilitates research in our college. College also has multiple copies of National journals Regional and Local Newspapers and Magazines. Also, the College has E-Journals. We have a book bank scheme in S.I.T book bank of 13595 books and a Social Welfare Department book bank of 3407 books available. The college has a book scheme for Toppers and other students.

The College sport is an integral part of the curriculum. The various sports facility is provided to the students within the campus. The college Central Computing facility supports the Educational and Research activities of Institutes by providing intellectual access to information. The students and staff of various programs are using these central facilities for their research activities. For these activities, the central computing facility provides research-based software. It is also open to access different software used by different programs such as AutoCAD. The laboratories with all facilities with Air Conditioning are provided. The main objective of the Central Computing Facility is to provide opportunities, adequate scope, and different educational amenities for the all-round development of the students and staff of SIT Polytechnic.
