Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development, Mysore offers two PG courses and one Ph.D course. SDMIMD Mysore admissions are offered in only one stream: management and business administration. SDMIMD admission to the PGDM programme is done on the basis of academic performance and scores in the competitive exam- CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT followed by a personal interview. SDMIMD admission to the PGCM programme depends on the marks obtained in CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/KMAT/NMAT or SDMIMD Admission Test (SAT) scores followed by an interview. For SDMIMD admission to the Ph.D course, the candidate must qualify NET/UGC-JRF/KSET/Mysore-Ph.D entrance exam followed by an interview. Candidates aspiring for SDMIMD Mysore admissions must check and meet the eligibility criteria. SDMIMD admissions to PGDM, PGCM and doctoral programme is given below.
For SDMIMD admission to the PGDM course, the candidate must have a consistent academic record of not less than 50% aggregate in Class 10, Class 12 and bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. For SDMIMD admission, students are also shortlisted based on scores in the national level exam like CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT. The students are further shortlisted based on ) students’ consistent performance in academics, competitive examinations, extracurricular activities which includes debates, theatre, sports, fine arts etc.

Candidates are then called for a personal interview after considering the scores of the entrance exam.
Candidates will be shortlisted for SDMIMD admission based on their consistent academic performance in competitive exams, extracurricular activities like sports, debates, theatre, fine arts etc, and work experience if applicable.
Candidates are also be required to attend a final interview round.
After seat allocation, document verification, and fee payment, the SDMIMD admission will be offered to the candidate.
For SDMIMD admission to the PGCM course, the candidate must have an aggregate of 50% marks in graduation. SDMIMD admission to the PGCM programme is done through the entrance examinations and the candidate should have a valid score in any one of the entrance exam- CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/KMAT/NMAT or the candidate can apply for the SDMIMD Admission Test (SAT) conducted by SDMIMD, Mysore followed by a personal interview.

Applicants who have not taken any competitive entrance examination must sit for the SDMIMD Admission Test (SAT) conducted by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development.
Shortlisted candidates are required to attend a personal interview.
The results of the personal interview will be emailed to applicants the day after the interview.
Selected applicants will receive an admission call letter via email.
Shortlisted candidates should get their documents verified and pay the fee.
SDMIMD admission procedure for the Ph.D course is done based on the performance of the student in master’s degree or equivalent diploma from a recognised university. For SDMIMD admission to the doctoral programme, the candidate must qualify the National Eligibility Test (NET)/Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET)/University Grants Commission-Junior Research Fellow (UGC-JRF)/the University of Mysore-Ph.D entrance examination followed by a personal interview.
