Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. All living spaces are cleaned and the food is hygienic. There is no wifi in campus, it exists in hostels but not so good.
Yes the curriculum is updated as the college comes under pune university. I am currently in TE and pursuing Civil engineering. The quality of teaching is okay but not so good. You won't like all the lecturers.
They are mostly for IT interested students. The placements are open for all. If you know computer languages you can get placed as well. For civil 4-5 students get placed every year. The training is good.
As far as campus life is concerned you can say it is the best in city.
Yes the college has necessary infrastructure. All the labs are very well equipped and have adequate quantity of material. Yes the living spaces are cleaned. The campus is also very clean. The hostels are also good.
Yes as it comes under pune university, the curriculum is very updated. The attendance is not so strictly monitored. The lectures take place for the one's who attend them . which is not a common thing in college.
Not much for core branches like civil. Almost all for IT. For civil the number of student's placed is around 4 to 5 students every year. The college is very supportive in placement activities. The training is good.
No I don't think so.
This is awesomene. If you have other interest's and are being forced to do engineering, you can take it as it provides you with ample number of opportunities.
Infrastructure is pretty good and the college buildings are also pretty well . College provides you good facilities and equipments along with the good infrastructure. Classrooms are airy and fresh there are greenboards in the classroom and WiFi works only in hostel area rest all classes, college premises, play grounds and overall campus is good . Living spaces are good fresh and airy but the food is not that hygeinic .
I am currently studying in third year civil engineering, from starting I was pretty sure about engineering but branch was not decided then I got to know my interest is in structures and foundation, bridges etc so I decided to go for civil.
Talking about placements here in this College they are mainly for computer science , IT and entc also for mechanical but for civil one cannot be sure about placements. The rate of average placements for civil engineering is not that good.
The fees for the college per year goes upto 1lack and ofcourse the scholarships are available and also students have to pay the hostel fees along with the college fees. I personally don't feel I am getting money's worth because the staff is not that good and students generally tend to fail in targeting new experiences or learnings only bookish knowledge is provided.
College campus is awesome. Total greenary and the whole scene looks different in rainy season. Students are from different backgrounds and vivid. The location of college is basically in vadgaon and the area is okay and pretty much safe.
Overall College is good and the campus attracts more also the fests are awesome and in general the aura is pretty good and everything else is also e.
Yes the infrastructure is good. The classrooms are old. Labs are adequate and very well equipped. Specially for civil branch the labs are very well equipped. No wifi in campus. The college is at very good location.
I am pursuing civil engineering and I am currently in TE. The quality of teaching is good if you attend the lectures which is not so common for civil department. Yes the curriculum is updated as the college comes under pune university.
Maximum for IT sector students. Not much for civil. About 1000+ students get place every year. Training and Placement section is active and it is pretty good. They provide with adequate trainings and courses.
The fees is around 1 lakh per year.
This is the best part for Sinhgad College.
The college infrastructure is one of the best, the only problem is the classrooms are quite old. The location of college is awesome. It has no definite boundaries and you will love the place. The labs are in adequate quantity.
As far as my branch is concerned - chemical, it is very good. The faculty is good. Won't say all but there are enough if you want to do something new or learn sincerely. The curriculum is well updated as the college comes under Pune University.
The placements are good for CS,IT, E&TC. They are very few for chemical students. But if you are interested in placements of IT companies, you can participate in the placement activity, irrespective of your branch.
Yaaa if you are not getting any other autonomous college, then in the given fee it is the best.
This is the best part about sinhgad, the campus life is way too awesome.
Best infrastructure and best campus location! It has awesome view in rainy season. It has many good facilities. The classrooms are a bit old but they are equipped with smartboards. There are adequate labs for all branches.
I am pursuing civil engineering, currently in my TE. Lectures are conducted regularly but hardly 30-35 students attend. Its your choice if you want to learn anything from outside, or work outside. The college motivates you to attend lectures but won't force you.
The placements are good for IT field students. But for core and my branch it is very less. But the college prepares you well for the placement activity. The facilities are very helpful in this matter.
It is one of the best colleges in pune among state colleges.
This is the best part. It is chill. You can do co-curricular activities in college.
Best infrastructure and best campus location! It has awesome view in rainy season. It is very good for mental peace too. It has many good facilities. If you like studying ear the nature, you should give this college a thought!
Faculties are also good. Most faculties are trained from NIt's. Many good seminars are also conducted, guest lectures too. Curriculum is bit outdated, but hey are going to update it from next semester.
Placements scenario is good only if you are above average student who manages to be in top in class. Many good companies come for the placements. You can also enjoy pool placements or job fairs in the city which college approves of.
Yes it is valuable for money. If you really want to do something and learn, it is a good place. College provides many facilities for us. It has very good teacher - student support. If you really have dedication it is a good place.
Campus life is very good. Students have many good and decent life, many good fests are conducted with sports events. Annual fests are conducted. It has very good environment around us. It has many good atmosphere and places to visit near us.
The college is well equipped with the necessary labs and facilities. Specially talking about my branch - civil, all the labs are very well equipped. The survey lab has all the necessary equipments in adequate quantity. All civil engineering labs have adequate people to handle it. They are very well planned. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors, you will find the classrooms a bit old though. Wifi facility exists just for the sake of name, you can hardly use it.
I am pursuing civil engineering, currently in my TE. The best part about the college is adequate faculty is available, they are all well trained. Faculties are well equipped to handle your doubts. If you want to grow, the right faculty will always help you. Lectures are conducted regularly but hardly 30-35 students attend. Its your choice if you want to learn anything from outside, or work outside. The college motivates you to attend lectures but won't force you.
Placement is maximum for IT,CS,E&TC students. Hardly 4-5 students from civil engineering gets placed every year. Maximum among them are in IT sector. 1200-1300 students get placed from sinhgad institutes every year. The placement drive is centralized for all sinhgad students. 3-4 l.p.a is the average package.
The fess is around 1 lakh per year. If you don't have any other choices go for this college. You have your freewill here, it is completely your choice to grow yourself or you can enjoy your campus life as well. Sinhgad is known for its beautiful campus and campus enjoyment. My final word is, if you are not getting any government colleges and you are left with state colleges, go for it.
This is the best part here, you can enjoy in campus like anything. The annual fest of college known as 'Sinhgad Karandak' is the biggest college fest in pune city. There are a lot of places to chill. The campus has its own clinic, so dont worry you can always go there and they will treat you well. The girls and boys hostels both are very safe and are always very properly guarded.
From my personal experience i would always recommend my college if you have to choose between state colleges. As the attendance is not so closely monitored, it gives you time to enjoy your campus life and to personally grow as well. If you are good at dancing, singing or stuff like this, then you wont regret your choice ever.
Very good departments. Feels like a government college ambiance. Good buildings and infrastructure. Well equipped labs and theory classes. Very good Metrology and Fluid Mechanics lab. Excellent library infrastructure for students with facilities of online library.
During my time very good faculty in mechanical engineering was there, IES officers, GATE rank holders and eminent people from research were there to teach. Good experience and learning. Helping faculty and good exposure to various competitions and extra curricular activities.
Placements are fine and can be improved , especially in core fields. Very good placements when it comes to Computer and IT sector. Many companies visits the campus for both mass recruitment and general drives.
Excellent campus and facilities. Just beautiful.
infrastructure is so good. it's an open campus means college doesn't have any boundary or main gate.it's like a small town. laboratories are well equipped.as we all know pune is known for its cleanliness so no question about campus cleanliness.
studying is pretty well. First year teaching quality is poor but it'll not affect your studies coz first year syllabus much matches with the 11th and 12th syllabus but after first year teaching teaching quality is so good.
according to a private institution ,placement is good . many companies like ktm,Accenture, tataki, vivo,Samsung, cognizant,Infosys places students. and if you are a good student and have a great interest in college activities then you are getting placed for sure.
yup!! college fees is almost good . I mean there are so many colleges which have few above 2 lacs but our college fees is somewhere around 1lacs 20thousand only. which normal as per my thoughts.so college fees is normal.
campus life is awesome .it's really awesome. college organizes a carnival in odd semi and fest in even semi naming sinhgad carnival and sinhgad karandak respectively. karandak is the largest college fest in pune.
overall campus life is so good and I'll give 8 out of 10 .2 Mark's deducting for first year teaching quality.it should be improved to get an overall rating good . but as I mentioned first year syllabus is same as high school syllabus.
