The “Ladies in Family Enterprise Course” Certification is an enhancing short-term general management online programme for women belonging to different business families. The (LiFE) Programme is offered by the Centre for Family Managed Business in association with the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR).

If you are a woman from a business family, who has little or no ownership, and role in your family-managed business enterprise, then this “Ladies in Family Enterprise Certification Syllabus” is specifically designed for you to address your needs. The women can be anyone from the business owner’s relations including the mother, wife, daughters-in-law, or even daughters.

The primary motto of the “Ladies in Family Enterprise” Training is to help build a basic understanding of both the business and family and their relational aspects. It will enrich the skills of the woman from the business family, and gives her independence to explore her own role, also including being entrepreneurial in her own family business. The “Ladies in Family Enterprise Certification Fees” is a total of Rs. 40,000/- and 18% GST, which must be paid online while filling up the application form online on SPIJMR’s website. The fee can also be paid via 2 easy installments of Rs. 29,500, and Rs. 17,700 respectively including GST.

A woman participant who has joined the program needs to successfully complete all the lectures, along with some other requirements to be able to receive a certificate of completion.

This “Ladies in Family Enterprise (LiFE) Programme” is ideal for any woman who belongs to a family-owned business, and is 30+ years old. That woman participant may be with or without ownership, with little or no role in the family business currently, and wants to learn more about what business is all about and can opt for this course. These women must be related to the owner of the business directly, and can either be the owner’s wife, his mother, daughter-in-law, or even his own daughter.

Admission Details

Here is a list of admission details that a participant needs to know before opting for the “Ladies in Family Enterprise” (LiFE):

The admission is done via an online application to SPJIMR’s Centre for Family Managed Business.
Applicants need to create a login with a proper email id, verify their login, fill out the application form online, upload the required documents, pay the fees and submit it for approval.
The Application Form Fee is Non-Refundable.
No change of any wrong Email ID provided will be looked into under any circumstances.
Applicants who are selected are advised to use the Query Management System rather than emailing, to get a faster response.

The “Ladies in Family Enterprise Certification Course” application details will first require any participant to register by filling in a regular registration form.
Once verification is completed women candidates will be asked to provide personal details like name, email Id, educational qualification, and date of birth.
The participant should also fill up every detail of the family business associated with things like the name, date of establishment, GST, relationship with the owner.
Then the form must be duly filled, and signed, along with a recent passport size picture and other educational certificates.
Then hit submit, to finish uploading.
