Standing proud as a technical institution in Northeast India, Techno College of Engineering, Agartala (TCEA) is increasing in stature with each passing day. Techno College of Engineering admission criterion is strict to enable it to select the most deserving and able candidates from among the vast number of applicants.
Techno College of Engineering admission cycle usually begins in about May and June for the academic year that goes in August and September. Techno College of Engineering, Agartala then accepts the application through several national and state-level entrance examinations depending on the course. In attempting to admit applicants to the undergraduate programmes, Techno College considers the results of the entrance exams, namely, JEE Main, WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination), or TJEE (Tripura Joint Entrance Examination).
The eligibility criterion for undergraduate admission is that the candidate must have completed higher secondary education (10+2) from any recognised board with compulsory subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Additionally, in most courses, candidates should score 50% marks as an aggregate of the qualifying examination. TCEA conducts TCEALET, its own state-level entrance examination, for the admission of lateral entry to the B.Tech programmes.
