Good infrastructure with all advanced facilities and equipments. Classrooms are spacious.good libraries, educational laboratories, well maintained canteen.wifi facility is available.good environment in the campus.
Academics is average .I'm studying mechanical engineering but the faculty is not at all supportive .The students need to interact with teachers constantly to get in touch with the ongoing sylabbus .overall it's average
No placements for mechanical engineering students.all the other faculty students are given good opportunity but mechanical engineering placements are not done.collg also don't take any initiative about placement for mechanical students
Mechanical costs 1.4 lakhs per year. No worth in terms of education
Campus Life is good
The college has all the facilities. The labs are neat amd good. There are more computer so that each students can perform, no need of sharing. Personal attention is been given to one and all. There are lab assistant to assist you. Classes are spacious. There is wifi. Library is also good.
My branch is electronics and telecommunication. Uptil now it is good. Now there will be certain chamges since it's become an autonomous college. Curriculum sometimes lags but they sure provide you with different courses as well to fill the gap.
The college is concerned about the student's placements. They give lots of opportunities. There are many companies that come and take the students. Before placements there are training sessions for practicing aptitude, there are gds.. so that people can clear these rounds.
Worth it.
It's good.
If you talk about infrastructure no college can beat Thakur , it has an amazing infrastructure good spacious classrooms, labs with well equipped tool and all the necessary things in it ,canteen ,Boys/girls rec room. You’ll get all the facilities over here .
Teaching wise Only good for the first 2 years ,then after that don’t expect any of the teaching from the college. No proper practical will be performed everything thing you have to complete. No support will be there from the professors side when you reach your 5-6 semester .
Placement wise it’s good ( only for Cs/IT). Rest of them forget about placement at Thakur. There are no placement for other departments over here . If you have planned for higher studies then you can go with this college .
It’s very costly over here apart from the other college.People like me can’t afford it.
Life at Thakur is really good . There are many events that take place you can always make yourself participated in some or the other events . Each and every one can participate in which ever events they want to , there are no restrictions for students
Overall if you go to see it’s a good college . It depends on individual how they have gone through at this campus
Good infrastructure college has well functioning lifts .good air conditioned rooms so that students feel a comfortable environment. Collg labs and machinery are well maintained, wifi facility is available.
I'm studying MECHANICAL ENGINEERING quality of teaching is very poor. Teachers do not help students in their academics.students fear of asking doubts, very less interaction with students, lots of burden on students.
No placement opportunities for mechanical engineering students. Mechanical engineering students are been excluded from the placement scenarios and collg also does not take any efforts on bringing companies for mechanical students
No value for money
No teaching staff is not helpful
College infrastructure is excellent and well maintained the campus is of 50 acre consisting of two academic towers of 8 floors also with auditorium and ground also provided with canteen and bookstore.
Academic over here are very good as all the faculty are highly qualified and students friendly all the classroom are facilitated ac and projector labs of mechanical and electrical are also maintained with high equipment
Placement of this college are good as the highest package was of 15 lacs per annum by Microsoft. Mostly students are placed from computer science ,IT and electronic field only and few from mech civil .
The annual college fees is 2 lacs for every field and looking at the location of the college that is near the station and transportation is very easy . It is really good for the students who wants to go for higher education
Campus life will be the most memorable of your life as the crowd and facilities are awesome and college also organize fest in which Bollywood stars are invited and the freshers party and farewell party is amazing .
