The cutoff at NIE is quite sriff, so your chances are not very good. That being said, it is always prudent to go through past cutoff trends - Check Here

Please note that cutoffs can vary from year to year, so you also have to take into account.

yes ,In  BTECH you can change your branch after 1st year  because in the 1st year the syllabus of all the branches are same.

So we can change our branch after 1st year .
