NIE Mysore is about 75 year old institution, while LPU is around 20 years old.

Both have autonomous status as far as the curriculum design and many other things matter.

Both have excellent track record so far.

There are some points which make LPU as slightly better choice, these are continuous adaptation of new technology in curriculum and experiential learning techniques which make it easier for the students to understand the concepts.

In last 15 years LPU has grown by leaps and bounds to become India's largest university, which is a no mean task !

This strong brand has been built on deliverance of strong results and placements which in turn are a result of very smart and heavy investments in intellectual capital.

So, I would conclude by saying that though bot are equally good institutions, LPU has a slight edge in providing the opportunities to students in terms of placements.
