You asked for the comparison among the colleges named psg, tce & cit.

Now, look, according to me, psg is  the best among them. Placement is extremely good. Mostly PSG students get placed in the avg package of 4 to 6 Lpa. PSG last 3 years maintaining placement percentage 85%+. Most of the reputed companies like Caterpillar, Bajaj, L&T, Pwc, Daimler, Asian Paints,Renault Nissan, Goldman Sachs etc. are visiting regularly to our campus.

The tentative number of lecturers in this college is 90 in the college. Their avg age is around 40 to 45. Their average qualification is M.E. but most of the staffs have completed PhDs. They are very good in explaining the engineering concepts to the students as they do a lot of work after the college hrs to prepare for the next day's class.

So, you may go for it.

I believe CSE Thiagarajar College of Engineering under the eminent Anna University is knots ahead of Private Institutes like VIT Chennai and SRM. You will have access to better Faculty and Research Facilties.

KIIT, Bhubaneshwar and TCE, Madurai are both well reputed colleges for Engineering. KIIT has a slight edge in terms of faculty, location and student life but TCE has slightly better placement options.

Also, the fees for KIIT's B.Tech. course are around 15 Lakhs compared to TCE's 2 Lakhs.

You also need to factor in location. Both colleges are great and you can choose whichever one is more convenient for you.

As per your cutoff score and previous year cutoff,you have very less chances of getting Thiagarajar college of engineering, Madurai .

The last year opening cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is 190.5 and closing cutoff is 189.5, in BC Category.

The last year opening cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is 196 and closing cutoff is 190.5, in general Category.

So, you will not get any CSE seat in Thiagarajar college of engineering, Madurai.

Admissions to this college in 4 year BE/Btech programmes are taken through a single window system of Anna university. You can choose the courses based upon state wise rank calculated by your marks in Higher secondary exam of Tamil Nadu board. Then merit list is published and you are allotted streams on basis of your performance.

Thiyagarajar Engineering college in one of the top engineering colleges in India. The number of seats for lateral entry students in Mechanical department students will be in a single digit number. To get admission in TCE, Madurai your academic performance has to be good. It is safe to have more than 80% of marks.
