In general, both the degrees are considered to be equivalent. They just differ in Nomenclature. Both the courses are of 4 years. Students having B.E. or B.Tech are not treated differently. You may find little but difference in the syllabus of these two. Some studies say that Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) is more focused on theoretical concept, while Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is more focused on practical studies. B.Tech makes you more skill oriented while B.E. is knowledge based. But as such there is no major difference between these two regarding curriculum orpractical training or even future demand. Otherwise everything is same. Your performance matters than your degree. Both B.E. and B.Tech graduates are hired by same companies. But nowadays B.E. is in trend. Most of the Institutes has converted their B.Tech degrees into B.E. But There is nothing to differentiate these two. Placements Statistics of these two are same. You can go for the one you want.

Hello student,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 8519 rank CUSAT. Sorry to say but it seems difficult to get admission in CU through CS or electronics branch because considering the previous years cutoffs the cutoff for these branches would lie under 2000. If you belong to kerala and any reserved category then there might be chances.

All the best.

Hello aspirant. You can take admissions in biotechnology in many college either iit nit states engineering college or private clg. It depends on your rank in jee main which college you are going to take for biotechnology. You should give information about your rank or information about your choice of college.
You can predict your college by clicking on the link below. https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello there,

As per your JEE Main CRL and EWS rank you won't be eligible for IITs or NITs but you can still try for your state government colleges through state counselings.
You'll also surely be eligible for some good private universities or colleges.
To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main
college Predictor tool.

Further if you really want to take admission in NITs, IITS or GFTIs, I'll suggest a year drop and preparing thoroughly for the JEE main 2021 examinations and securing a good rank for yourself to be eligible for admission in good colleges and universities.

Dear Aspirant,

You CSE is the top branch in btech and therefore has the highest cutoff. With your score it is not possible for you to get into any NIT with Computer Science. If you want to do computer science, then I suggest you should prepare again and give another try at the JEE 2021.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
