Hello student,

With a rank of 56,007 in the OBC category, securing a seat in the govt colleges is difficult, but you may get seat in the private colleges.
As per last years cutoff trends, you surely can get a seat in PICT Pune . But you may or may not get into your top branches, depending upon the number of candidates in the counselling. But for your category, your percentile is decent to get a seat.
Hence ,hopefully you can get a seat if they don't demand for a domicile.

Thank you!!

Hi Rohit,

Based on your category rank, under All India seat you might NOT be able to get into majority of NITs under Other State quota. However, you may have a good chance in Home State quota depending on the state. I will advice you to use our College Predictor tool for JEE Mains to help you in finding college and branch of your choice based on your merits in the exam.

Good Luck

With 96.67 Percentile, assuming you are from General Category, your CRL will be anywhere around 35-36k. With this Rank, you have fair chances in securing Electronics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering at VIT Pune. You need to secure atleast between 20-25k, to have fair chances in securing IT/CS/AI Branches at VIT Pune.

For more information about VIT Pune Cutoffs do follow the link below https://www.careers360.com/colleges/vishwakarma-institute-of-technology-pune/cut-off

However, I would advise you to target anywhere around 98 Percentile in JEE Main over the next 2 Attempts and target securing a seat at some of the NITs, IIITs or Top GFTIs.

Hello dear,

According to last year cut-off you have very less chances for getting admission in Cs branch at VIT Pune because last year cut-off was little higher then this so you have to wait till last round.

Hope This Helps

Hello Aspirant,

In an admission process there are seat reserved or divided for home state students which means students who have passed their 11th and 12th from that state itself are eligible for that seat. Eligibility criteria is different for different admission process. The students who are from that particular state in which the university is present will get first chance for admission into it and that university is home state university for them.

The cut off is not affected but the students of home state are given first preference and their admission is done first in the university.

Regards.

Hello aspirant,

Hope you doing well

As you have doubt regarding fees so basically total fees of VIT PUNE is Rs 7.40 lakhs for 4 years ( for open category students) and for each year of Btech(for all branches) it is Rs 1,84,935.

Hope this information helps you

Sorry ,VIT, PUNE doesnt have civil engineering branch. If college matters then you may go for other branches.

And if you want to pursue in civil engineering in maharashtra then i would suggest COEP AND WALCHAND, SANGLI(oldest civil engineering department in Maharashtra)

And if you want to stick to core branch then go for mechanical at VIT PUNE. Its really good and you will have good exposure.

Hello,

The admission to VIT Pune is based on the CET score. The score in between 97+ percentile is considered descent to get a seat in this college. The cutoff rank of the college is between 9000-9500 every year. The college only accepts the CET score not Jee mains score.

Hope this will help, All the best!!

Hi Abhishek!

Both VIT Pune and WCE , Sangli provides all the required facilities to students such as smart classrooms, cafeterias, hostel and internet facilities, library , well equipped labs, etc. The faculty members in the both the colleges are highly supportive and are always ready to help students. Coming to the placements, as we know that VIT is popular for its placement records, especially for CSE and IT. But for Civil engineering, the placement record of WCE, Sangali are better than that of VIT Pune (70% placement record).

Thankyou!
