The infrastructure of the college is nice. The classrooms has good quality of furniture that include chairs, boards, etc. Also our library has plenty of books for reading and can be issued for home. Lastly, the washrooms and laboratory is also maintained.
The academics of the college is fantastic. As we see that there are good quality of teachers for educating and the mode of teaching is also good. Various moot court activities are being organized in the college for better learning.
The college lacks in placements as there are limited placements that are available for students. Also, in other courses there are placements but in law there are not much. But teachers supports the students.
Good value of money can be seen as the fees is not so high.
The campus life is average as we see all kind of students in college from different backgrounds.
The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms & washrooms are hygienic and well maintained. Also, library & laboratory is maintained and resources are available in quantity. The food is also hygienic.
The academics of the college is also good with latest updates and amendments. I have studied law in this college which was taught with updated curriculum with respect to practical aspects of the industry.
The placements of the college is not so good and there are less placements for students. The quality of the placements are not upto the mark. The process of placements is not so easy and college is not much supportive.
The money spent is worthy in terms of return.
The campus life is good as we get to see good crowd in college.
Vips is always know for its good infrastructure. All the classroom as necessary facilities and equipment. Moreover Labs are also well equipped. College is quite well maintained and the food provided in the college is also hygienic.
I am studying BBA LLB (integrated) its quite a difficult course. I am very happy with the quality of study teachers are providing. And the curriculum is always updated. I think this course makes me JOB oriented.
Placement of my college is quite high as compare to other colleges and The placement cell team is quite active with the students and Moreover the students get high paid jobs from college its self i am very proud to be a part of placement cell
My course cost me eighty thousand per year. I am getting proper worth eduaction from my fees and i am totally satisfied with the college they are one of the best college in the locality and i will always recommend students this college
Campus Life is the best in this college and now a new building is also in process and i would definitely want you to come and study here. Location wise it is one of the best area in New Delhi and this college is quite near to the metro station
The infrastructure of the college is extremely well and sound. There are labs for almost all the courses; classes are well-equipped with all the basic amenities. There are studios designed to make practical application a priority, like radio studio and video studio to name a few. The college has established a novel concept of digital canteen, and the classes and lawns are clean. The sports facilities are limited though;WiFi is provided throughout the campus but it suffers from poor connectivity.
The faculty is highly experienced, and being a computer student, I firmly believe that my faculty is a master player in computer applications. The internal process adopted by teachers is very smooth and the curriculum is updated till date, hence making the students' skills compatible with the contemporary advancements. The curricula, overall, makes students job ready and incites emphasis on practicality rather than just rote learning the theory.
The placements in VIPS are a fairly average as it is not inclusive of all the students, the probability of one being placed in VIPS is dependent on the line of course pursued by that individual. The media and commerce students have high chances of getting jobs, on the contrary, students like me pursuing BCA of relatively less chances of getting hired. The average package is also low, falling between 3-5 lacs p/a.
The college recently undertook the measure of fee hike, thereby increasing the tuition fee to 95k annually. An outsider was most hit by this hike as he had other expenses of accommodation besides the normal college fee. The college should look into the money aspect, as education should always be made affordable. The Delhi university might have more facilities than IP(under which VIPS falls), but the fees there ranges around 10k annually.
The life at VIPS has been amazing till date. The location is around a developed area which is conducive to hanging out with friends. The college has good medical facilities to handle emergencies; there are various societies for students to engage in, with some societies being cultural like music and dramatics, and some being educational like Enactus(working for society). The sports department is also something engaging; there are spacious lawns to enjoy and chill.
The college is not a good platform for sports, but otherwise, it has all the required facilities. The lack of placements for certain courses is a limitation, but the teachers are supportive and guide students in getting off-campus placements. Moreover, the ability to grab a job depends upon the dedication of the student.
The campus includes all the modern facilities and the means to avail these. The college has wi-fi facility, library for course as well as the research work. Not only academics, the college offers a wide variety of sports and extra curricular. The college offers a sound quality of classroom environment.
Most of the faculty are chosen from among the top graduates in the country. Faculty if highly qualified and most of them are University gold medalists. The teaching methods are quite unique and focus on the practical day to day problems of the profession concerned.
The college has set up two placement cells which provides the skills required to crack the interview and are supplemented with the training sessions. The placements offered are generally of legal advisory and associates. The companies and firms offer a decent package along with other perks.
The course costs around 3 Lakhs in total and is absolutely worth it.
There is free Wi-Fi for the students to surf the internet. All the classrooms are well maintained with good infrastructure and air conditioned. There are well maintained and systematic libraries. Outdoor as well as indoor sports are there for students to refresh. The canteen has different kinds of food with good quality.
The vips faculty is educated and experienced. The faculty helps the students to achieve the best in their life. The teachers explain every topic and with the help of projectors help students explain graphically. The faculty to student ratio is good. Also every student gets the best exposure to industry.
The students get placed in some of the top firms or under some experienced advocates or clear the judicial services exams. Some of the top firms like Larsen and toubro, vanish associates, luthra and luthra, Chitley and Chitley. Some advocates also come to recruit like Mr Ram jethmalani, Mr Goal subramanium, Mr A. S. Chandok.
The infrastructure is extremely well. The classes are well equipped with projectors and other amenities. There are various labs for each course. For eg: Radio studio for Broadcast media, Video studio for electronic media studies and a design and graphics lab. There is a photography lab as well and the campus provides cameras to students to assess the practical applicability of the subject. The living spaces are clean and the college has recently introduced a concept of digital canteen.
I am a student of journalism and mass communication. The faculty is highly qualified with years of work experience in the media industry. The curriculum is updated regularly and approaches the practical application of the subject. It makes the students job ready.
Many reputed organisations of the media industry visit the college for placements offering huge packages to students based on their capabilities. The highest salary package is Rs.50,000 a month but it varies depending upon the line of course you pursue.
The college has increased its fee last year onward. They now charge Rs. 96000 for a year that comprises two semesters while the course if for 3yrs. The fee is very expensive and should be made affordable. There is no point in charging enormous amount for a basic amenity like education.
The campus life is fun. The societies are highly active in events and the fests are mind blowing.
Hi dear candidate,
The IP University and it's affiliated colleges like VIPS, JIMS, MSIT etc. all have 85% of the seats reserved for Delhi students and the remaining ones are for outsiders which has good amount of competition.
Yes, the IPU reserves seat for outsiders as well but you will need a valid EWS certificate that is issued after 31 March 2025.
BEST REGARDS
No, the fees for management quota in VIPS is usually higher than the general quota. Management quota seats are limited and are filled directly by the college, so they charge more than the regular fees set under the government or merit based admission. It's best to contact the college admission office directly to get the exact fee details for both quotas.
Yes, you can get direct admission into BBA LLB at VIPS (Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies) with 82 percent in your Class 12 exams, but not without appearing in CLAT or IPU CET.
VIPS is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), and admissions to BBA LLB are done strictly through entrance exams. The primary mode of admission is through CLAT UG, as GGSIPU has adopted CLAT scores for law programs in recent years. Previously, the IPU CET was used for law admissions, but that has been phased out for integrated law courses like BBA LLB.
So, even with a good Class 12 score, you cannot get admission into VIPS for BBA LLB without a valid CLAT score. The university does not allow direct management quota admissions outside the entrance process for its law programs. You may need to wait for the next CLAT attempt or consider private universities that allow direct admission based on 12th marks.
All the best!
