Infrastructure is very good , college is equipped with more than required labs , has its own football , basketball grounds , gymkhana , cafeteria . Faculty is highly qualified with PhD's and Ms from elite IIT's . Staff is friendly and supportive . Students are given opportunities to explore their interests and talents through cultural programs and paid internships , crowd coming here is selective based on merit and campus placements are top notch with mass recruiters visiting every year.

Great place to play, study and grow as a true engineers

Campus placement has improved drastically due to the young and dynamic TPO. 80% of students getting placed and rest 20% moving abroad for higher studies. you will get placed if u have at least 55% marks and necessary skills in coding and interpersonal relations. Infrastructure is good and management is friendly.

Nice Infrastructure

XIE offers B.E. in three fields - Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering. Also, each stream has 60 students intake every year. I would like to say that the infrastructure of the labs and library are good, equipped with latest devices and very well renovated. There are separate laboratories for each subject and for each field.

Xavier's college is a nice college with huge campus and grounds for various activity. The college has a good participation in sports and cultural activities. The college has its own festival spend and transmission which are very popular and interesting. The college crowd is very nice. The faculty is just awesome and helpful. The college is very hygienic and clean. The college canteen is also.nice awesome.

The college has the Christian minority.the college with a huge campus and beautify surrounding.the college is very hygienic. A good Institute

The college has a huge campus with two grounds and a basketball court. The college has its own cultural festival spend an which is quite famous and also it has its very own technical fest transmission and also has sports festival sparx. The college has an above average placement from companies like tech Mahindra,Infosys etc.

The college has only three streams

The college has only three streams I.T, EXTC and Computer Science. The campus is huge and has a huge ground. The college canteen is also good.the classes are well spaced.the college crowd is also nice.the college has its own festival spandan which is very popular for all cultural events.the teaching faculty is also very good and helpful.

The perfect institute to get knowledge of engineering

The college has a huge campus comprising of 2 grounds canteen etc. The college has an excellent % of placement. There is the great encouragement of sports and cultural activities by the college principal, staff members and all other committee members.the college life is interesting and of great fun. The surrounding atmosphere is perfect for studying.

Good College

The principal has started the system of sending letters at home and threatens to detain students who bunk regularly. As long as you keep it above 70% there should be no problems. Regarding hangouts, there is nothing much in Mahim so the students usually head to Bandra which is nearby. Innumerable places to go once you reach Bandra.

Unsatisfactory infrastructure. Average College

The infrastructure Xavier Institute of Engineering is not very satisfactory. The college ground is big enough to play all sports. Majority of the lab equipment's work properly. Classrooms are in decent condition. Libraries have desired number of books. Lack of lush green plantations is a big thumbs down to such a huge campus.

Not your first choice but it is a better option

Xavier Engineering College is definitely not your first choice but it is a better option than the colleges which are far away from Mumbai if you don’t manage to get into the top colleges. Most of the teachers at Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE) are good but there are a few horrible exceptions. The fresh graduates who have taken up teaching are really pathetic. The best faculty is in EXTC and IT departments.

Placements are good. Study hard and you dont need to worry.

60% of the students get placed. Tech Mahindra takes maximum students. Patni, Infosys, Accenture and Quinox are the other major companies. The placements and salaries offered are just about average. Panasonic recruited a student from EXTC and offered 12 lakh p.a.. Hope it's true.

Improved Placements

The placement situation is improved now.This year on wards TCS, accenture, Infosys and Panasonic have started recruiting students. Panasonic offered 1 from EXTC student 12 lacs package to work in Dubai. Also Spandan n Transmission don't happen alternate years...They both happen every year... :)

This college rocks !!!

its got d perfect blend of studies , discipline , sports and tons of fun. teachers are cooperative. teaching methodology is nice. regular assignments and tests keep you in pace with approaching semester exams. you get acknowledgement s for any type of co curricular activities. seniors have always been friendly and helpful. lots of sporting activities to show your field mettle.

God forsaken Guantanamo Bay.

Oscar Wilde after seeing the 3 story Xavier Institute of Engineering- 'Never knew shit could pile up so high.' Truth be told, this college is not the best way to spend your 4(or more) Engineering years. Reasons being: 1. Attendance is strict as hell. 2. The area sucks. 3. The canteen serves jail food. 4. Average campus 5. The crowd is really really average. Feels like the weight of the world before you graduate. Convocation=sal vation from this God forsaken Guantanamo of a place

Don't try to make this college as your option

Principal (well I don't really feel like talking about him. It lowers my dignity). Most of the times when you enter the college, you feel like you have come for a wedding. You have a plus point here. You can have dinner for free if you want. Talking of festivals, they are OK except for some restrictions from management. Placement is OK compared to quality of teaching. I give this college 1 star out of 5 star. Don't try to make this college as your option unless you have done very bad in entrance exams.

Not worth of your precious money

This college rocks as long as you mind your own business. 3rd class staff (especially teaching staff). Library is not at all a favorable place to sit and study (thanks to the mosquitoes). During exams you will get to enjoy Koli music and dance quite often. Don't ever try to eat in the canteen, you'll most probably meet fried cockroach someday. You better go and eat in the next lane.

Nice college. Pretty average though.

Nice college. Pretty average though. Most of the time the college is totally empty. I have hardly seen any seniors in my time in XIE. Staff has BMC mentality. Attendance is very strict and teaching is average. If u have 130+ in MH-CET please don't opt for this college
