BITS offers Integrated M.Sc. programmes in Food Technology [with exit option after 6 semesters - B.Sc. Degree] but there is no course for BTech food technology.

On safer side any score above 710+ or 96+ Percentile is considered safe for targeting top end colkeges with excellent Placements and Internship Opportunities.
For all Average collegs ,scores of 550-600 is well enough and for Tier One colleges a score of 600-700 is must.

No BIT MESRA is not under JEE MAINS , Birla institute of technology have separate online entrance exam for the admission in their various colleges like BITS pilani,Mesra etc.Where there is separate pattern and cutoff to qualify for this exam.
