DTU Electrical is the best overall in terms of brand, placements, and opportunities.

NSUT ECE is a close second, especially for tech roles.

BIT Mesra ECE is good academically but slightly behind DTU/NSUT in placements.

IGDTUW ECE is a decent option with location advantage for female candidates.

Hello,

If you paid the registration fee in Round 1 but did not go for physical verification, you do not need to pay the registration fee again in Round 2. You can register for Round 2 using the same payment. Only new candidates need to pay the fee.

Hope it helps !

HELLO,

No need to pay again if you have already paid the registration fee during Round 1 of West Bengal NEET counselling for Round 1 then you do not have to pay for round 2 again. But you need to complete the fresh choice filling process for Round 2.

1.The counseling fee is typically a one time payment for entire counseling process

2.If you have not completed the physical verification in 1st Round still you will be eligible for Round 2

Hope this Helps!

Hello,

Thanks for your detailed query. Let’s break this down step by step so you get a clear idea.

First, between BKBIET Pilani, Poornima College, and JECRC Jaipur, here’s a quick comparison for Computer Science:

  • JECRC Jaipur is considered better overall in terms of placement, infrastructure, and reputation compared to BKBIET.
  • Poornima is also good, especially in Jaipur, but JECRC has slightly stronger industry connections and more consistent placement records.
  • And BKBIET Pilani is decent, but if you’re comparing only for CSE, then JECRC > Poornima > BKBIET.

Now, about getting CS in JECRC without REAP , unfortunately, JECRC participates in REAP counselling for regular admissions. So unless they open management quota seats or spot admission later, it’s tough to get CS without REAP.

You can check their official website for direct admission possibilities or call their admission office and request if there are any vacant seats or internal quota options.

Best wishes for your engineering journey!

So you are not eligible for this but if you have NCC B certificate than you can  grace marks upto 7% if you got that in republic day and 3% if you have NCC B certificate.

Dear candidate ,
If you belong to the OC Muslim category and wish to apply for admission in Muslim minority colleges , you must have a minority certificate to claim a seat under the Muslim minority quota . Being from the OC category means you do not get caste based reservations , but minority quota is separate and requires official proof that you are from Muslim community. This certificate is issued by your state government and is needed during admission, counselling and scholarship applications . Without it , you will be considered only under the general OC category and cannot avail minority - specific benefits .

With 82 marks and a rank of 522, you’ve secured IT at BIT Durg as your fifth priority in the first round, which is a solid start. Now, for the second round, you can still aim for AI (Artificial Intelligence) or Data Science at the same college if there are seats left.

Log in to the counselling portal, update your priority list by placing AI or Data Science above IT—think of IT as a fallback option. The system will try to upgrade your seat if seats are available in those preferred branches when allotment occurs. If AI or Data Science seats are already full, you will retain your current IT seat in BIT Durg.

Since your rank is strong, you have a good shot at an upgrade—especially if those specialized branches have more seats or fewer applicants. Make sure you participate in all rounds, keep your priorities smartly ordered, and check the allotment results closely after second-round seat release.

College Infrastructure

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra offers a well-maintained and resourceful campus with everything a student needs for academic and personal growth. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. The central library is one of the best parts of the campus, with ample study space, digital resources, and access to journals required for research and assignments. Hostels are clean, spacious, and regularly maintained, and the mess food is satisfactory with decent hygiene standards. The campus also includes indoor and outdoor sports facilities, well-equipped laboratories, medical services, cafeterias, a post office, and a bank, making it a self-sustained environment.

Amazing campus with great learning experience.

College Infrastructure

BIT Mesra has really good infrastructure and facilities that make college life comfortable and productive. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and have projectors for better learning. Labs are fully equipped with modern instruments, and everything is well maintained so practical work never feels like a hassle. The library is huge — it’s a peaceful place to study with thousands of books and online resources. Sports facilities are great too; we have grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and even indoor games and a gym. Hostels are neat and the rooms are decent in size with good Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is hygienic and better than what you’d expect in most colleges. The campus overall is very green and pleasant, and there’s a medical center available for any emergencies. It honestly feels like everything a student might need is already here.
