In the further process, you could be asked to change your photograph or you yourself should make sure that you change it to avoid any problems in future.

Hello, Kindly mention what is your current education and stream so that we can guide you further. Assuming you are asking about undergraduate courses the most sought options are

Hello,

First of all I am happy to hear that your friend is doing fine now.

Getting into the top IITs is a dream for many engineering aspirants. To get an admission into the top IITs you need to do really well in the JEE Advance. And to be able to appear for JEE Advance you need to qualify JEE Mains being among the top 2,50,000 candidates.

JEE Advanced is considered to be one of the toughest entrance examinations and there is a tight competition for this exam. Students failing in the first attempt make repeated attempts. To crack JEE Advanced requires a lot of hard work.

Candidates should have qualified the 10+2th examination with Minimum 75% aggregate if there is no reservation to be eligible for JEE Advance.

Below I have provided some tips for preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced examinations.

  • The most important thing that has to be done first is to understand the exam pattern, the dates and the syllabus . This helps you to understand which topics you will have to spend more time on and plan your timetable accordingly

  • Once you get to know about the syllabus and the dates, now you can set a timetable. You can decide how many days or hours you will be keeping for each subjects, revision and to practice previous year papers and mock tests. Manage time in a way that you spend enough time on difficult topics and also ensure that you have ample time for revision and practice.

  • Another important thing to keep in mind is to find the correct books for you . Some books may be hard to follow, so try to get materials that are written in a student friendly language. Below I have given a link where you can find details about the best study materials

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/best-study-material-for-jee-main

  • While studying the subjects make sure you keep note of important points and equations in a separate book . This will come in handy at the time of revision.

  • Once you are done studying the subjects start revising and doing previous year papers and mock question papers on a daily basis . This helps you to recollect the formulas, gives you an idea on where you have to improve and will also help you to manage time better. Make it a point to solve atleast one paper every day during the month you have kept apart for revision and practicing question papers.

Below I have shared a link where you can get sample question papers.:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers

  • Another important thing is that don’t study anything new at the last minute and this can create confusions.

  • NEVER TAKE YOUR HEALTH FOR GRANTED . Get proper sleep, eat healthy food and keep your self hydrated. Ensure that you do not stress your self too much and give enough time to relax and take breaks. Always remember that if you are stressed out then take a break as it would not bring out any good results when you put yourself in more stress.

  • Finally, on the day of the exam relax and don’t get tensed. Keep your mind clear and give the exam.  You will surely be able to do well.

Following these and being completely dedicated to this, I am sure your friend will be able to get into one of the best IITs.

Hope this was useful.

Good Luck

Hey

Yes it does matter when you passed your 12th standard while taking admission in colleges like BIt or VJTI or VIT during counselling. If you have a drop year they will ask you about it and you will be required to provide a gap year certificate too. It will not matter a lot if the gap was due to drop taken for studying in institutes (preparing for JEE etc) as most students do it. However if the drop was due to any illegal behaviour then it might be a disadvantage.

It all depends on the reason taken for the drop written in the drop certificate.

Thankyou

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know about what would be a better option for a Bengali student. Is it bit mesra jaipur or patna.

I would like to tell you that both the colleges are not very suited with Bengali language as if you would consider placements then it would be better if you go to bit mesra jaipur.

Hi Aspirant,

OMR sheet is a sheet which is recognizable by the computer. So in case if you have smudged a ink you could have discussed the matter with the invigilator. It could have been some help.As in my case it once happened that the invigilator offered me some whitener to remove the stain in one of my mock test. However if the roll number is understandable by human eye then you are on the safe side.

Hope for the best!!
