Hello,
Both IEM and Heritage are known as good colleges with quality placements. However, there is still an upper edge of Heritage over IEM when it comes to quality of teaching in BTech courses, especially BTech CSE. This is because, Heritage is traditionally known to provide quality education in technical fields, but, IEM is more reputed as a Management institute, though its technical school has also gained reputation in the past few years.
As far as placements are concerned, both of them have achieved above 90% placement in CSE department in recent years. While the average placement package of Heritage ranges between INR 5-6 LPA, the average placement package of IEM ranges between INR 4-6 LPA in BTech. The top recruiters from both of these colleges include MNCs like TCS, Wipro, etc. Elite companies like Microsoft have also selected a few students from these colleges.
But, both these colleges are very strict in attendance. Attending at least 75% of the classes are compulsory to be eligible to appear in examination.
Hi,
Well the grades are decent enough. Also the sat score is really good. Focus on framing a very strong motivation letter and answer the questions with complete honesty and integrity. Also try to get good recommendation letter from your academic counselor and then you will be good to go.
Hello Aspirant,
See the marks and corresponding percentile which you have mentioned is not matching because on 143 marks out of 300 marks in JEE-Main 2021 it is not possible to have such low percentile, this can only be possible in the case the paper for that shift is very easy or more than very easy which was not really for February session. So you might have calculated wrong marks using the answer key or there is some error in your result so I would recommend you to reach out to NTA, inform them about your issue because if the situation that you have mentioned is true then on 143 marks an OBC girl can get seat in good NITs.
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your percentile is expected to be in the range of 95.15 - 96.93, you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

Hello,
You can start by fixing a timetable where you spend time everyday solving problems related to aptitude questions. If you are preparing for a exam in particular then please mention the same and we may be able to suggest you some of the best materials for that.
Also the solution to all your studies related problems is to have dedication and proper concentration.
I understand it becomes really difficult to concentrate on your studies, specially during this time.
Below I will share some tips that will help you to concentrate better:
Find a time which is best suitable for you to study. Some find it better to concentrate in the morning while others find they can do better in the night.
Decide what portions you would like to finish in that particular day
Prepare a timetable according to the above, keeping slots for breaks
Start studying with your favorite subject, so that you don’t get bored from the beginning itself
Take breaks when you get bored, and try to avoid studying at a stretch for a longer duration.
Always keep some time apart for your hobbies, exercise, etc.
Eat healthy food, sleep well and also socialise. A healthy mind is the most important for good concentration
Do some mind games like Sudoku, Crossword puzzles, Chess, etc
Also try meditation
Following these I am sure you will be able to improve your concentration
Do not worry about the gap, just start now and I am sure you will be able to do well.
Good Luck
