Hello aspirant,
MS Ramaiah is good college with awesome faculty members but grading system is very strict. Placements were good most of the seniors were placed approximately 75% students were placed in senior batch. Average package for the senior batch was 5 Lacs per annum and the highest salary was 12 Lacs per annum.
Bit mesra is reputated well known college. The placements of BIT MESRA are good as many students go for higher studies and some get placed in mass recruiter companies. If you are interested and do good, then you can grab a great package and can become far more successful than the students of other branches.
By comparing both the colleges MS ramaiah will be good choice regarding placements .
Hope this helps !
Hello rishanthreddy1 , In current placement season about 50 students of CSE/IT (out of 190) have already got package of about 20 lpa and placement season has just begun. So, I think average salary of CSE at BIT is about 13–14 lpa.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Hello,
There are almost 100% placements in B.Tech CSE in BIT Mesra main campus. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amadeus, Adobe, Delloite, One Plus and many others. Almost 30% of the students got an internship after their 3rd year.
Hope this might helps you.
Hi,
You haven't specified the course you opted for. The cutoff of almost all courses in BIT campuses is above 200 every year. So admissions in any courses in BITS is tough with this score. But the cut offs haven't released yet so don't loose hope and don't worry ,you have other opportunities if you don't get admission to BITS. All the best. You can check the previous year cutoffs of BITSAT from the following article

All the best.
Hi Amit,
So, as per the information provided by you , that your CRL is 56066 and SC Category Rank is 4628.
See, at present it is very difficult to predict whether you will get any NITs/GFTIs with this rank since the counselling as not yet started and the Round 1 results are not yet out.
Now, as per previous trends it seems not possible for you to get Into Any NITs since they offer a very higher cutoffs which usually hangs around 400-500(Max 900 for HS Students in SC Category). Check out the cutoffs of various NITs from this link below

Hi Neeraj,
If you wanted to work in Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) with B.Tech, then you can go for Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science ,Electronics or Automobile Engineering.
The vacancies of Electronics and Computer Science are very large in number. One having these branches will have slightly more chances to get into ISRO.
You may refer to this article for more detailed information about ISRO recruitment.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!
Hello there,
Both colleges are good but BIT Mesra was under rank 30 in NIRF whereas NIT Jamshedpur as around 150. And if you opting for computer science and engineering then you should go for BIT Mesra. Because only in CSE/ IT branch BIT Mesra have more placement offers but if you consider other courses then NIT Jamshedpur is better.
Good luck!!
Hello aspirant,
There is no much of difference between CSE and CE. CSE basically deals more with software than hardware whereas CE deals more with hardware than software. in CSE, there is a wide range of things one can learn because it involves solving a problem in a efficient way starting from scratch. CSE has the fastest way of computing data. CE is only about hardware and circuits which shares a common department with electronic engineers as well.
Therefore, CSE has more scope than CE.
Good luck and stay safe!
Hi,
The mission of chemical engineering in BIT Mesra is to educate and prepare graduate engineers with critical thinking skills in the areas of chemical engineering & polymer science and engineering. So it is an interdisciplinary subject where you can learn chemistry and engineering principles. The scope of a chemical engineer is wide. They are mainly recruited in chemical industries, petroleum industries etc. The chemical engineering students of BITS have good placement opportunities. Most of the students get recruited in companies such as ONGC,TATA etc. Also the department is one of the finest ones in the campus. To know more visit official page

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra offers a well-maintained and resourceful campus with everything a student needs for academic and personal growth. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. The central library is one of the best parts of the campus, with ample study space, digital resources, and access to journals required for research and assignments. Hostels are clean, spacious, and regularly maintained, and the mess food is satisfactory with decent hygiene standards. The campus also includes indoor and outdoor sports facilities, well-equipped laboratories, medical services, cafeterias, a post office, and a bank, making it a self-sustained environment.
BIT Mesra has really good infrastructure and facilities that make college life comfortable and productive. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and have projectors for better learning. Labs are fully equipped with modern instruments, and everything is well maintained so practical work never feels like a hassle. The library is huge — it’s a peaceful place to study with thousands of books and online resources. Sports facilities are great too; we have grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and even indoor games and a gym. Hostels are neat and the rooms are decent in size with good Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is hygienic and better than what you’d expect in most colleges. The campus overall is very green and pleasant, and there’s a medical center available for any emergencies. It honestly feels like everything a student might need is already here.
