It maybe possible to get Electronics and Communication Engineering or maybe even try for Electrical and Electronics Engineering if you are from the jharkhand home state quota. Otherwise it seems difficult but you can get other branches if you are other state student.

Well if you are from the jharkhand home state quota then I think you have some strong chances of getting Electronics and Communication and even maybe try for Electrical and Electronics Engineering. If you are from other state quota then maybe try for some other branch.

I mean the categories depend sometimes from institute to institute. First of all BIT Mesra is not a central government college so it will not have the seat demarcation as IITs or NITs. If any institute has no OBC category then OBC candidates will be considered as general candidates.

I mean you have very very low chances but still you can get some lower branch like production or chemical engineering with specialization in plastic and polymers. So you should wait till the last rounds of counselling even the special rounds and hope for the best.

Well just to be clear that BIT Mesra only takes admission in undergraduate engineering courses via JOSAA cunselling taking into consideration JEE MAINS score. I hope you are not confusing the institute with another institute of similar name BIT Sindhri.

Hey Manoj Kumar, it depends upon you, which course you want to opt according to your interest. As you should first go for your interest. And if you talk about the branches, then it is true that CSE is better than ECE nowadays. And MIT is also a good college
