Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT ),Ahmedabad is a great University for B.Arch . You get admission in the same on basis of your NATA score and your 12th PCM marks

The eligibility criteria is

1. A candidate must have passed exams for 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCM

2. The minimum NATA score required is 80

So you will definitely get admission in CEPT for Architecture

Hey that's a great score in Nata especially with 91% in boards. Congratulations to you first of all for your efforts.

There are greater chances for you to get admission into CEPT and Even JJ College.

I can give you a suggestion if not this college, then...

You have to apply for each state for the admission in to B.Arch. They will give a state rank with your NATA score and 12th marks.. You should be able to get in to most of the good colleges in all the states except 3–4 colleges.

You can get good colleges in Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

What is "date of score card validity " mentioned in the CEPT online application form?

Hello Niharika,

The date of score card validity is the last date till which the score card of the exam is applicable anywhere.

Meaning, it is the overall time upto which your score card is valid. After this date, the score card will be of no use and will be discarded.

Your concern is about admission in CEPT with this rank which you got in JEE mains. I don't know that how much marks you got I think you have a clear idea of marks which you gained. Which college is good for BDes MIT pune or CEPT

Hello,
So Lets break it down

Degree: CEPT offers Master Degree in Planning, Technology, Architecture and Design where as most of the MIT pune courses are Post Graduate Diplomas.

Faculty: MIT pune and CEPT both have faculties that have vast experience in academics as well as industy.

Course Structure: Both Universities focus on providing the field experience CEPT courses focus on planning and designing part of the project where as where as mit pune is more into execution part.

Fees: MIT pune costs almost twice as much of CEPT

Placements: Although MIT pune has good track record of placement in recent years not all of the students are placed (Ya not even from Pune campus) for CEPT there are placements and ave. placement percentage is 60%70% (My branch got 80% placement, Construction management 100%) Average package was 5 LPA

Campus Life: CEPT has the best campus life no doubt about it

Student Support: well CEPT has lot of initiatives and programs to help students financially and academically, I am not aware of such thing in MIT pune.
So, i prefer to to go for CEPT.

CEPT Entrance Exam is conducted by CEPT University for admission to 3 years' Bachelor Degree Programme (UG) and 2 years' Master Degree Programme (PG) in Interior Design, Urban Design and Management, Architecture, Design and Construction Technology, etc.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure was exceptional. It had all the facilities and buildings. The classrooms were nice and the hostels were good in quality. The living areas were well-maintained. The food was hygienic and the library was huge and well-equipped.

College Infrastructure

My college was having all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms and their facilities were exceptional and the hostels were great. All the things were well-maintained. The living spaces were clean and hygienic.

College Infrastructure

The college has very good infrastructure which motivates the mood to study. Classrooms are designed in a form of studio which makes it unique and moreover the architecture of the building truly showcase the best architectural and engineering college.
