Yes Chandigarh University, Punjab i.e [CU] offers BCA .It is one of the best Universities in Punjab and North India offering various Undergraduate and Post graduate Courses like B.tech,BCA, BBA, HMCT, B.Com, LLB, B.Arch, MBA, M.Tech, Journalism and MCA at an affordable fee structure.
For bca ; CU is not that good, it's average, for example if I tell you about placements then placement for bca at CU is average  . Only almost 60 % students get placed but Infrastructure of the college is good and so is the faculty at CU.

Chandigarh University:-

Placements: 100% placements are there the highest package was 36 LPA Average package was 4-6 LPA the lowest package was 3.1 LPA Amazon, qualcomm, zs associates, Hp, etc. There were 400+ companies Internship was for 20% companies including cognizant, Capgemini, virtusa Software developer, quality assurance analyst, bigdata analyst.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library all facilities are available. Quality of food was average, and canteen was there, medical facilities are good, sports and games were also there. Infrastructure is well Maintained and it is a huge campus with a lot number of canteens.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, teachers are cooperative and understanding. Yes, curriculum is up to the mark Semester exams were average level, pass percentage is according to the highest marks obtained and also you can easily reach out to the teachers to help .

LPU:-

Placements: The college offers 100% placements for B.Tech computer science courses. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA.Microsoft, Amazon, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. Around 80% of the students got internship programs. There are many other specialised courses like AI and ML. Roles offered are as full-stack development, data science, etc.

Infrastructure: All the infrastructure facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, etc., are available. The mess is good and they serve good food. Sports facilities provided are amazing. They can perform in front of international sports experienced faculty members. medical facilities are excellent.

Faculty: Faculty members are very intelligent, and they clear all the doubts at any time. The quality of education provided is also good. Semester exams are a bit tough. But if you are caring about your subjects it is quite good and natural. Faculty members are amazing and they help us to achieve our goals.

Shiv Nadar:-

Placements: More than 90% of the students from the computer science and engineering course got placement. The highest salary package offered in the previous year is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered in the CSE branch is 8 LPA. It is opened in the year 2011, and it has progressed a lot compared to other colleges.

Infrastructure: It has a world-class infrastructure. The service of food served is awesome. It is a good place for sports. Our college provides horse riding, table tennis, gym, cricket, golf, football, squash, billiards, volleyball, football, etc. It has a world-class infrastructure of hotels and labs.

Faculty: It has introduced a good platform for the exam for which video should be on, and you cannot move to the next page. Many curriculum activities are performed online due to the COVID. Now, in India, many colleges are working online, but it is offline also.

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that  chandigarh university holds 38 rank in nirf ranking  . if we talk about placements , if you are good at coding and have development skills then you will get placed in some product based companies easily . But coding culture, helpful faculities ,extra-circular activities you will get in chandigarh university . If you want to have good brand in your resume then cu is very good option . Many students get placed with an average packagen of 7 lakhs and highest went upto 35 lakhs

With such query I must say just move forward for which you're passionate about. If you have a great passion of electronics then take ECE, if you have interest in IT sector then CSE. Make sure an ECE engineer can get a job in both core and IT sector. But if you still can't determined then I can tell you some point about JIIT and CU, you can choose according to you.

First and most important thing JIIT is a ‘deemed university’ est. 2001 whereas CU is ‘private university’ est. 2012. Therefore JIIT enjoys a good reputation in the industry and a good alumni network.

Being in the NCR adds up to the exposure factor, with MUNs happening every week and many other events being held frequently. Along with that there are many study centers for students interested in CS, GATE, CAT etc for further studies.

Now placements are a strong point of JIIT with companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Cognizant, Barclays, SAP etc visiting the campus every year and every student walking out with AT LEAST one offer (some with more than one). In CU placement is good as JIIT but they take admission at least 3000 students only in CSE department and there is no criteria of taking admission in Chandigarh University in any branch. So later when you will be in third year, they divide the batches on the basis of AMCAT score and the students who get the higher batches, they will get the privilege to sit in placement drives. And they take extra fee for the TPP classes which is for the placement. If you won't pay TPP fee, you will not be able to sit in placement drives in any manner. Hope this may help you.

You take admission in engineering is base on nirf ranking that you chooose the chitkara university because chitkara university ranking is more than Chandigarh university but I prefer Chandigarh university because the value of CU is more than chitkara.

It depends on the options you are getting for admission. If you only left choice is Chandigarh University then you need to opt that.

But if you have any other options along with CU such as Thapar University, Punjab University, PEC Chandigarh , Amity University, LPU etc. then you need to choose wisely.

Thapar university is better over CU in many terms such as placements, crowd, facilities, reputation etc. However, Thapar charges more than CU but it is worth to take admission in Thapar.

If you have LPU in your list, then you can choose accordingly as there is no such difference in placements and crowd of LPU and CU, but LPU has way bigger campus than CU.

Amity University is known for its facilities and it's fee charges, but it is worth to pay if you are getting a core branch there which have good placement opportunities and records over CU.

And if you are getting PU or PEC, then you should join it without any second thought as it is not only less expensive but has good placement opportunities than all other mentioned colleges here.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions. NIRF ranking system is done on taking ito account different parameters like quality of education, research output, graduation outcome, average packages offered during placements, campus facilities, outreach, inclusivity etc. So sometimes there might be a case when a private college is ranked better than a govt. college.

Chandigarh University is ranked 77th whereas LPU is ranked 99th. But drawing out a conclusion based on ranking is not advisable.

I suggest you to look after the imporant criteria you are looking for in a college and better go for it.
