Chandigarh University is indeed a great university. The average salary package offered in CU for the CSE branch is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA in 2021, which was provided to 4 students. However, in other streams placements are not much good. In terms of internships, academically average students do not get internships, but if you are a hard-working student, you will definitely get placement because top-notch companies visit CU. The passing percentage in class is around 95%-96%, but if you don't have 75% attendance, you are not allowed to write the exam.

There is nothing as a disadvantage if you perform well throughout your engineering years. Hope this helps!

• The curriculum of UPES is more well organized compared to that of CU.

BTECH CSE is a more job oriented course compared to that of BSc Computer Science. If you are wiling to go for BSc Computer Science then you should do a MSc in order to get a good job but if you don't want to go for MSc program and want a job via placement just after your graduation then BTech CSE will be a great course for you. The CSE and CS both are similar to theoretics but in CSE you will learn more of practical skills which are required in industrial sectors.

The truth is the both don't have any match as both are different streams also one is Government and other is private. Since both are different fields also differ in occupation too. But B.Tech with CU have upper hand over B.Sc from DU due to high placements in CU in this CSE field.

If you have to compare the placements between the two colleges then chandigarh university placements are much better as this year the highest package reaches upto 36LPA for engineering and also top companies like Microsoft, Google,  Amazon,  IBM , Adobe , Deloitte visit the college.

And if we talk about guru gobind singh college the average placement is 3LPA and industry giants like Amazon, flippant, TCS , IBM visit the campus.

In Chandigarh University, from the 6th semester onwards, students become eligible for placements, and internships are offered from 4th semester. The number of companies visiting the campus is huge and tech giants like Microsoft, Google and Amazon also take part in the drive. The average package of  CSE is around 6 LPA and the highest package offered last year was around 35 LPA.

The college has a record of highest placement and if you put little effort, you will definitely get placed. If you have 8 CGPA in every semester then you can get into dream or super dream companies.

Placements: The placement is the primary benefit you will get at Chandigarh University. About 85% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. A lot of students also got internships from our course in various companies like Google, Intel, TCS, etc. Roles offered were of web developers, android developers, etc.

Infrastructure: The college campus and hostel are Wi-Fi enabled with high-speed internet. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms are fully air-conditioned. They provide a good environment for studies. The library contains a large variety of books, and you can avail them at any time without any extra cost. The hostel is quite good and the wardens are very supportive. Mess is hygienic and serves tasty and healthy food. The medical facility is available anytime on campus. The college has a very large playground, and you can play any sports inside the college. You have a very great opportunity to grow yourself in any sport as the college has its team representing at various levels.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they are well qualified from top universities like IITs and NITs. They clear all the doubts even after college hours. Placements: More than 90% of the students from the computer science and engineering course got placement. The highest salary package offered in the previous year is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered in the CSE branch is 8 LPA. It is opened in the year 2011, and it has progressed a lot compared to other colleges.

Infrastructure: It has a world-class infrastructure. The service of food served is awesome. It is a good place for sports. The college provides horse riding, table tennis, gym, cricket, golf, football, squash, billiards, volleyball, football, etc. It has a world-class infrastructure of hotels and labs.

Faculty: It has introduced a good platform for the exam for which video should be on, and you cannot move to the next page. Many curriculum activities are performed online due to the COVID. Now, in India, many colleges are working online, but it is offline also.
