Following are the eligibility criteria for a candidate to take admission in B.Sc psycology;

1.Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with a aggregate of atleast 50%.

2.Students from any background or or stream can apply for B.Sc psycology.

3.Candidates who have appeared for higher secondary exam and are waiting for results can also apply.

Admission is totally based on your 12th score.To apply for merit based admission in college,candidates have to fill the application form online and are required to keep a check on the cutoff list released by the university or college.

However, some colleges such as BHU ,SOA university take entrance exam for admission to this course.

1. Infrastructure - In infrastructure, Chandigarh University wins. No doubt it has a quite wonderful infrastructure as their are students from different countries. CGC Landren infrastructure is not that good comparable to CU.
2. College Life- It's the most important thing for everyone because that what everyone wants a perfect college life. CU has a edge over CGC in this again as a lot of events take place in CU. There are a lot of places for roaming and eating in CU also.
3. Placement- That's what literally su***, at the time of placement students of cgc and CU sit together. So, the company won't give you an advantage if you are a student at CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY.
4. Fees- If you take hostel then Fees for CU is 10Lakhs while of CGC is 6.4 Lakhs but CU offers a lot of scholarship programs. E.g. if you have 90%+ in Boards then your semester fee will be reduced to 50%.
5. Facilities - It's common better facilities cost more, so, CU offers good facilities to it's students.

Faculty- This is the most important factor which needed to be consider here. I am a 2016–20 Batch student from the same branch & there are some bitter truths I would want lay down- there are limited number of faculty present BUT does it affect your quality of studies not at all, Most of the subjects curriculum followed here is much updated with respect to the Industrial processes & are well inculcated to the students by the faculty present here.

Exposure- One of the most important aspect we fail to perceive is that the success in an individuals life is directly proportional to the fact that how much that individual is exposed to variety of situations, to whole lot of different people, creating a people oriented mindset & I’m pretty much sure you’ll be able to gain a lot more experiences whether it might be technical or in professional terms towards corporate sector through the kind of Opportunities & exposure that is being provided here.

I won’t be stating other aspects like the Labs, projects, industrial tie ups because i firmly believe the above two mentioned points are the only major concern should be there in a student’s mind.
