Hello Vivek
Each of them has it's own Pros and Cons. Both are great in it's own aspects. But there are certains things which gives VNIT a slight edge over COEP.
If you can admission in the streams of CSE/ECE/EEE/Mechnaical/Mining Then go for VNIT Nagpur if only you can get. Otherwise go for COE (Civil/MetallurgyChemical).
Dear Aspirant,
The 'College of Engineering, Pune' doesn't admit students based on their performance in Jee mains or advanced. The criteria for admission in CoEP is strictly restricted by the results of MHT-CET. Although with a percentile that good, one can apply and get admit in a retupated National Institute of Technology.
Hi, admissions in engineering programmes in COEP are done through the Maharashtra Combined Entrance Test (MHCET) conducted by the Government. You should complete 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
To know the eligibility criteria for MHTCET, refer to the link - https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-eligibility-criteria
College of Engineering Pune is a Governmnet college takes the admission through MHT CET. The exact prediction would be tough about the cutoff & provide you admission chances as JEE Main is being conducted twice by NTA for the first time.
Based on your score your probable rank will be 249,383 - 279,383 with this rank the chances seems less to be eligible for JEE Advance, I would suggest you to appear for JEE Main April Session again & try to score well.
NOTE: Rank Predicted is on the basis of the expected total number of students i.e. 1152650 appearing in the JEE Mains April Session.
Good Luck!

Hello Rohidas
To get admission in COEP to B.Tech courses are considered on the basis of merit list as per the performance of the candidates in MHT- CET 2019 examination.
So you have to give MHT CET to get admission in COEP.
I hope you get my point .
Thank You and GOOD LUCK!!!
Ancient buildings with best modern touches is a most famous building in college Overall 36 acres campus, River view and 7 8 department buildings, 2 canteens and 2 auditoriums, 1 sbi bank and atm is also inside.
The labs and their corresponding equipment are of the highest quality and majority of the faculty are experienced professionals. Classrooms are mediocre in terms of design and comfort as is the WiFi network. Libraries and sports facilities are good. Canteen is clean and hygienic however the Boat Club canteen could do with some work.
The College of Engineering Pune is very prestigious for its impressive infrastructure, which basically enhances the student experience on the campus. Classrooms are also well equipped with the Projectors, digital learning tools and also are very spacious.
