Hello student student as per eligibility criteria to get admission in college of engineering pune  candidate must have secured a minimum 50 % marks (minimum 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Hello,

The admission process is after counselling. If you get COEP in counselling then the college or counselling board officials will mail you the date and details regarding admission. You have to report on that day to the college with all your documents so that those will be verified and after verification , you have to pay fees and then they will do their work like take photo of you for ID Card and give you accessories like bag, rule book and all.

After that you have to wait until college starts it's new session.When they will do they will notify you regarding the same and give all the details.

Cut off for various government colleges are as follows

For getting good Engineering college you must get 99% in JEE . So you can get good government college.

For getting good medical college you must score above 600 in NEET than you can easily get good government medical college.

if you have pursued diploma and you are going for engineering then you will join in 2nd year only. if you go for NIT and IIT then only you will get admission in 1st year.

COEP accepts JEE and state entrance exams too to intake candidates so you can appear any one or both to take an admission.

JEE application for january month is already completed. you can apply for  april month for which the form will be released in march month.

for state board entrance it will be released by the end of december.

you can visit the official webpage of the entrance board. they upload all the details in the form of notice in the webpage.

College of Engineering Pune is one of the highest reputed colleges in India. For an UG programme you can answer either MHCET OR JEE Mainsto get admissions. However, which entrance you want to answer is your choice personally. It is better to answer JEE Mains as the level of the exams is nationally recognized and it gives candidate a good educational advantage.

So..yah nevil you cannot do MBA after completion of 12 standard.To do MBA,a candidate should be an graduate or a candidate should have appear for 3 years Bachelor's degree course atleast  and also 50% marks for being eligible.And you should appear for entrance examinations too.Hope this would help you.

Yes , you are eligible for btech in College of Engineering, Pune even if you are from Delhi as to be eligible one should be Indian and should have passed 10+2 examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from a recognized board with a minimum 50 % marks (minimum 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together to be eligible.
You need to perform well in your jee mains exam as college of engineering, Pune provides admission in btech based on your performance in jee mains.

Of course VEERMATA JIJABAI TECHNICAL INSTITUTE ie VJTI only is the best state government engineering college in Mumbai after IIT. It's a very well known college which has great placement opportunities and almost 100% placements possible. SPIT is also another great GOVERNMENT college but it doesn't has CS branch in it if you want to pursue CS which is the most upcoming branch. If you getting CS in VJTI then it's the best scenario, and if any other engineering like electrical, mechanical or civil, etc then any of these 2 government colleges of Mumbai will do.

For an admission in a college you want then you have to secure atleast 5K. for 5k your percentile will be near to 97-98. if i say in terms of marks try to score 250-300 to get a secured position in the college for admission.

Even that is not easy yet not impossible. so try to study and plan accordingly so that you can increase your performance and get a good rank and take an admission at COEP. Generally the criteria bar is low that other top NITs,IIITs or GFITs

So make an effort and you will reach there.
