Candidates applying for MIT WPU admission to Ph.D courses need to complete 1-year/2-semester master’s degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme. MIT WPU Pune Ph.D Admission Process 2026-27
For MIT WPU Pune Ph.D admission, candidates need to meet eligibility criteria and follow the selection procedure. The eligible candidates satisfying should appear for the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by MITWPU. Students who qualify UGC- NET /UGC-CSIR NET /GATE (valid score)/CEED/GPAT (valid score) and similar national test are exempted to appear in Ph.D entrance test. PhD entrance test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50% ( 45% for the candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/Differently abled category, Economically Weaker section (EWS) and other category of candidates).
The qualified candidates on the basis of entrance exam should appear for the interview process. For selection of candidates a weightage of 70% to the entrance test and 30% to the performance in the interview/Viva-voce shall be given. For GATE/NET/JRF /SET/GPAT/CEED qualified students, the selection will be based on Interview/Viva Voce. The selected candidates will be intimated through email about their selection and the candidates will be offered Ph.D. provisional admission.

MIT WPU has good looking infrastructure,but the actual experience can be mixed. Come classrooms and facilities are well maintained , while certain areas feel crowed or need better upkeep. The campus has plenty of facilities but their availability and maintenance can sometimes be inconsistent

MIT-WPU has a good infrastructure with well equipped classroom,computers labs,a library and sports facilities.The campus is spacious and generally well maintained.The facilities are regularly used by students,and the overall cleanliness is good.Hostel facilities are also available,although the experience can vary depending on the students.

The infrastructure at MIT WPU is one of the highlights of the college. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and good seating while the library labs and sports facilities are useful and generally maintained. Hostel rooms are decent and basic hygiene is taken care of the food, quality and improve.
