Every year scholarships are provided to a group of students on the basis of extracurricular activities, merit based and in case of need.

Yes you will get a scholarship based on your 1st year results. The toppers( based on the CGPA of 1st year) of each and every department after the completion of 1st year will receive a particular amount as scholarship from GAABESU( Global Alumni Association of Bengal Engineering and Science University) office. Not only 1st year, Merit-Based Scholarship is also given to departmental toppers for subsequent years too.

You can also avail Book Grants and Need-Based Scholarship based on your annual family income .

Birla institute of technology, Mesra is ranked 38 by NIRF and is a private university with 284 faculty members and 1678 students intake. They have all the facilities like cafeteria, library, medical,gym etc in campus. Their Electronics and communication course is a 4 year full time course with 120 seats and AICTE approval.
